The album got more streams in it's 4th day than Chemtrails did and received 5,339,181 streams yesterday. Of course it's not as high as the streams of other artists, but that's not what matters at all. It's not "tanking" (and even if it was, who cares?). Generally, I don't know why you're so obsessed with the fact that Lana's numbers aren't as high as they were in past eras. Streams don't equal quality, which kind of feels like what you're trying to say. And about Dealer trending, it literally just started getting popular a few days ago, so obviously it's not as big as other viral Lana songs. It's fun to celebrate when Lana does well in her numbers, but that shouldn't be the focus of being a fan. You should be a fan because you enjoy the music.

Is this sales/streaming argument still not over yet? It's been hours at this point  Get over it. Once again, listening to Lana (or any artist for that matter) should be about enjoying the music, not her sales record. If you want to complain about Lana's sales, then boo-fucking-hoo. What else is there to say about it anymore?

This just in: people are allowed to like new things and still be a fan of the artist! I don't care whether or not you like the album, this is a weird mentality for anyone to have on any musician. I agree that most of those songs you mentioned are outstanding tracks, but that doesn't take away from there being tracks people like on Blue Banisters too and to claim that it does makes absolutely zero sense.

I think the lesson we can all learn here is that some people need to get a hobby that isn't obsessing over an artist and their numbers  I just find it so baffling that people care more about proving that an album is bad by pulling out streams than, I don't know, listening to the music you actually do like??

Anyways! Good morning  Dealer is continuing to rise on Spotify and Apple Music charts so yay Dealer! 

I just received the items I pre-ordered from Lana's US store! The transparent white vinyl, the two exclusive cover CDs, and the red & brown cassettes. (Bad lighting in the photo, sorry.)
I also received the Target CD I pre-ordered yesterday too. I'm still waiting on the yellow vinyl I ordered from Urban Outfitters and the signed art cards & CDs from her Canadian store and her Netherlands merchant. I have received notices from both though that it will be delayed, her Canadian store will ship November 12th & Platenzaak NL isn't sure yet. Sounds like that they both will be shipping the CD first and then the signed card when it's ready.
I'm so happy! As a collector, whenever I receive merch I ordered, it feels like my birthday  (which is ironic since my birthday actually was earlier this month lol)

Yes, it is a bit of a bummer that if all the variants were readily available, she easily would have been #2 on the album charts instead of #8 but ... it is what it is. 
 
She's not worried about it, so we shouldn't be, either. I'm excited for all of us to get our vinyl and merch.

I mean, I just love BB for what it is (although my album rankings are changing every day, so I never know where it's gonna be for me lol), but I really cannot understand why Honeymoon has always gotten the treatment it has. I don't think I saw people fully appreciating Honeymoon until last year or maybe even this year. The fact that that record was hated when it came out baffles me. It's so serene and timeless, and despite being slow, it captures you. I would probably go as far as to say it's her most cinematic album yet. And the jazz influence on that album is stunning. Side note here, but I wish Lana would do a full jazz record. Those horns at the end of If You Lie Down were such a tease  But yeah, all in all, Honeymoon is a masterpiece and I can honestly seeing it going on to become a classic years down the line. 

I somewhat agree here  I think that one of the pictures taken on the beach should've been used for the AKA cover, but if they were going to use a bomber jacket wall picture no matter what, it should've been this one. 
 

 
However, the actual AKA cover is kind of iconic at this point regardless of how I feel about it, so I'll always use it

Unidentified Flying Bill and On & On leaking on the same day was pretty crazy. So was the day that Life Is Beautiful, I Talk To Jesus and the God Knows I Tried demo leaked. Oh, and when Freak Like Me leaked and we realized that there were actually Honeymoon demos out there...  But I remember my first leak (BAR) being really special too, but that might have just been because it was my first one that I witnessed and it was on my birthday that year.
