Lana needs to keep working with more producers. NFR was the sonic revival her music needed. She’s probably gonna work with Jack again and I trust him to make the sound different enough from NFR but I just don’t want the songs to start sounding uninspired like an unnamed previous record.

Imagine a 12-track dream pop (with a touch of shoegaze) album. Lana meets Beach House meets Mazzy Star.

She's flirted with this sound with UV and NFR, but I want full-on Beach House mode.

I think the time is right for a country/folk album in the style of TNC, hey blue baby and bad country song. Yosemite is getting her revenge.

Now the critics just have to go again through her whole discography and make the good reviews they sould've done at the proper time.

I feel like crying. She started the decade being the clown everybody laughed at and now she's among the greatest american writers, and icon of our generation and one of the most influential artists of the century...

Would y'all have thought 6 months ago that we were getting her most critically acclaimed body of work to date? Wow...

Pitchfork's review made me so emotional. Stanning her for 8 years and looking how she has grown up as an artist and it took almost a decade for people to finally see what a fantastic singer and songwriter she is, makes me feel like... a proud mother? I don't know, it sounds stupid, but i hope that u understand what i'm trying to say. She's getting what she deserved, give her that fckn Grammy

hey qween, girl you have done it again. Constantly raising the bar for us all, and doing it flawlessly. I'd say I'm surprised, but I know who you are - I've seen it up close and personal. Girl you make me so proud. And I love you.

Wow, the Pitchfork article really made me emotional. Lana finally entered the well guarded sacred music critics territory.

"Whatever it was that brought Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen together half a century ago, that middle ground is in the solemn mood, hollowed space, and spiritual fortitude of this haunting song"

HOPE finally getting the recognition it deserves!

Given all the fuck ups I wouldn't be at all surprised if they didn't submit it in time or something.

"The languor of Mazzy Star and downbeat skitter of Portishead meet the easy pop-rock breeze of Carole King on 1971’s Tapestry, or the searching resilience of Joni Mitchell on 1972’s For the Roses."

Pitchfork really made me shiver with these!! So proud of her
