Lyrically speaking MAC is my favorite LDR song. Sure it has no real standout lines that can be used in insta captions but it’s simple in the best way and it feels so honest, stripped of all the trappings of glamour.

I just like.... it’s clear she’s not just accidentally pronouncing it that way. The whole vibe of that snippet is cheeky and silly. The background when she sings “put the radio on dancing to a pop song” is weird (in a good way). The way she pronounces it gives off the air of a silly lovestruck airhead which is like the whole Lizzy vibe. It all works.
 
Honestly y’all bitch about her not being Lizzy anymore and then she does something that is very reminiscent of the way Lizzy would have sang the song and it’s something you can’t possibly get past? Wild.
 
And she’s clearly saying fuck. Like you can hear the consonant.

California is a perfect example of how different a song can be from the initial snippet you hear--everyone wasn't into it and bashed it to death and then they heard more and liked it a lot. So same could happen with FIILY. 

I hope she sings some songs off the album, I mean... to name the tour NFR and sing the entire BTD album + MAC and DT

This is true, there are songs you don’t really fuck with but hearing them live with all that energy surrounding you does something to you.

Tbh when you're dehydrated, overheated, and adrenaline-rushed as fuck there very few songs that don't feel like a religious experience (if you haven't seen her live that many times), I don't like white mustang that much but the atmosphere carries you out of it. 

Why do you guys always forget that when you type a giant line of just one letter it fucks up the site for the ones of us who use the site on mobile -_-

The more I listen to FIILY the more it sounds like a song straight off the Lizzy era, like her voice, the instrumental, the harmonizing! did she just use an old unreleased song for the album or... 

do we ever know why she got rid of her string quartet?
