I consider Easter weekend the best time to listen to this album!

I just don't understand.. as a fellow long-time Charli fan, how do you not love Next Level Charli? it's a love letter to her fans - it's a lyrical culmination of everything she is as a songwriter. it's an homage to XCX World with the Bounce reference.. it's a stadium-sized anthem of a song that's basically the most euphoric chorus I've ever heard for the ENTIRE SONG!!!!! there's just certain songs that I feel like some of y'all fans claim not to like just to sound edgy, because it really makes no sense to me how anyone that has actually been a fan of Charli for all these years could dislike such a moment in her discography...

Ever since post-Sucker Charli has been goddamn GRINDING out a space for herself in the pop sphere, she's written bops for artists like Selena & Ryn Weaver, she's made album after mixtape after album after EP of QUALITY material, she made hyperpop a thing by hopping up with PC music, she's made an entire fucking album with fan input during quarantine when most artists were just twiddling their thumbs or partying (dua lipa looking at you). And for whatever reason her """"fans"""" and """"stans"""" are so hyper-critical of her work, like even some of you on here can admit that, remember the controversy of the 5itm remixes? Bugging her so much about Taxi it became a meme? Leaking a whole album & bugging her about it? ALL OF THIS while not even being a "commercially successful" artists like some of her popstar-sphere peers?
Why can't she pop off every now and again against the disrespect she's been facing for ages after feeding us genuinely good & interesting music for literal years?

if y’all held everyone in your personal lives to the same standards that you hold celebrities then you’d have very few (if any) people in your life. it just blows my mind how people act like they know a celebrity personally to the point where they insult them for being associated with a bad person. like what does complaining online actually do to make a difference?? & no i’m not referring to the people who comment on these things from a place of legitimate concern / education, but the swarm of gays that hop on a bandwagon of hate for the sake of expelling their own nastiness & negativity. 
 
trans women in pop music are virtually nonexistent & I just don’t see the point in spitting venom at Kim for seizing good business / career opportunities. yes her interview about dr puke was tone deaf, but you really can’t deny internet culture’s obsession with hating on any and every woman in pop music under the guise of morality. the way some of you seize the opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and trash her (and other pop girls) over some irrelevant mess… if it wasn’t Kim, dr puke would still be collecting checks from his past major hits or another girl (like doja cat)….. 
 
anyway like i said yes her interview was tone deaf and stupid but do not come at me about supporting rapists just because i don’t want to burn someone at the stake for being associated with one.

True Romance is just amazing to me-her darkest ,retro yet experimental production, her angelic vocals are probably her vocal peak and the imagery ugh goth charli is a babe. 
Not to mention the lyrics-so evocative and imagery inducing.
