I finally listened to the album and it's really really really good!  
the only songs I don't like are yes, and? and imperfect for you (both cases because of the chorus) but they feel like growers. the rest is really good, I loved it! favourites: we can't be friends (wait for your love), true story, supernatural and bye. but there are so many good tracks: don't wanna break up again, title track, i wish i hated you, the boy is mine (it doesn't deserve the hate y'all)... i just love how this album blends different styles in a cohesive way, it works so well
whoever called it a 'sad Positions' what were they onto lol
 
idk what's the hype about imperfect for you though, the verses are good but the chorus is not it and it kinda ruins the song for me

Was not expecting to like this album so much but I genuinely like some aspect of every song! Even the title track in all of its thank u next-ness and the last song with nonna, even though it feels like a last minute track she made so the album had a ~sentimental but positive~ ending

i don't really enjoy key changes, it's just the overall chorus i don't really like. particularly the way she says the song's title and the instrumental in that very part idk sounds off to me

Okay so I recently had a family member diagnosed with cancer for the second time and the lyrics “promise I’ll still love your garden, even with no flowers” in Bombs On Monday Morning just HIT! It’s such a beautiful metaphor for someone losing her hair due to chemotherapy
 
I may talk a lot of shit about her new stuff (and I stand by it) but when I say she had a huge impact in me years ago, I’m not lying! She’s so unique, has a beautiful voice and resonates a lot with my emotional side. Her metaphors and the topics in her songs make me feel seen, or at least it was that way up until now. 
 
I have replayed BOMM, Garden, Eraser, Gluestick and Tag Your It so many times, you have no idea! And when I critique her recent output I don’t do it just to hate on her, it’s just frustration cause I know she can do sooo much better and I was rooting for her! 
 
the Portals leaks are sooo good, been listening while traveling around centre Europe and it hits different with all the mythological and místicas vibe… she really dropped the ball there. Dragons Blood, Death (Demo), Void (demo), Garden, Needle & Thread, Mother Of Pearl, Magnets, Emerald and Fingers Crossed deserved better. 

I'm so obsessed with this album, I literally can't stand to listen to anything else  Bye, Eternal Sunshine and We Can't Be Friends actually have crack in them Supernatural sounds like it could be an M83 song The Boy is Mine is so addictive I love that slowed down chorus Ordinary Things feels like an amazing climax like you're slamming your foot on the pedal and speeding into a new adventure  The album is so warm and emotive it makes me feel so many things. It reminds me of Troye's Something to Give Each Other. I hope the rumors of AG8 coming later this fall are true and she follows this new style.

So Guadalajara was 28497 times better and met fans after the show, she hates mexico city omg 

All the mess asides... If she was working 4 days non-stop, I wonder what was she up to... because I doubt she spent 4 days rehearsing for these upcoming concerts cause it didn't look like it. lol The fact that she didn't go to Billboard Women in Music was clearly due to this festival and it would be messier if she'd cancelled. 
 
Hope she is feeling better because despite all of the things, I'm still rooting for her... and I still hope for brighter days...

Ugh, wtf is wrong with ppl like this... and posting it is wild 🤣. I swear her fans (same with many artists/threads here lol) really are her biggest haters. 

I critique people who call her a crackhead all the time- I think it’s fair to call her out on lies- more than welcome to call out those trashing her without reason.

Tbf I think she was quite respectful because you just insulted her daughter straight up  you could have replied with things we actually have evidence for- lies, bad communication with fans, low effort.
