PIN UP GALORE IS EVERYTHING HOLY IN THIS WORLD TO ME.
Body Electric was perfect before Paradise... the studio version is atrocious.
    Summer of Sam is amazing.
    PLAYING DANGEROUS IS FLAWLESS.

Kathi spends her days regretting that comment.

I don't think that was a dig at anyone, just a genuine thanks.

I'm disappointed, to be honest. Most of the songs are messy and all too sad. I like a select few, but UV is no BTD.

Though, honest and independent, you learned a thing or two about love. You accept people for who they are, but you’re also diligent and focused on personal growth. You’re inspired by music and movies, though you remain realistic most of the time. You appreciate passionate people, just make sure they treat you right and don’t use you for their own purposes. It’s hard for you to let people in, but once you do you’re an extremely faithful friend!

I think this is rather accurate.

Ha. "People". That is impressive vagueness. But I don't really care. I'm just glad she's finally acknowledging it. But this makes me suspect Brian Hiatt's been reading our forum even more. "Shaving off". I've used that phrase to describe this at least once.

I think she's probably conflating a couple things here. Both Gaga and Lana played consecutive new writer showcases at the Cutting Room put on by the Songwriter's Hall of Fame (SHOF) which Bob Leone worked for as Projects Director. The Monday night lineups she's referring to were probably Monday night open mics at Makor that were also put on by the SHOF. You can see more about those gigs in the "Early Shows" section.

    Regarding Axl Rose:

Wow. It's truly fascinating that one of the most subtly written portrayals of a problematic relationship in modern pop music may be accidental, the writer not self-conscious of it.

    Paging @@FormerLanaFan.

I would love a Buzzfeed-style "Cunt-ries of the World" map of what Barrie imagines each nation's delicacies taste like.

She sheds more light on her relationship with a record label exec:
It's almost like she wants us to figure it out.

Who knew dry-humping jokes were the way to a woman's heart? (Skip to 3:46.)

Yo, Franco, I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish... but Barrie-James was one of the best boyfriends of all time. One of the best of all time!

I didn't like Tropico or Paradise.
Flipside is one of the best tracks on UV, better than PWYC, FMWUTTT, FK, and Brooklyn Baby.

Born To Die was better than Ultraviolence.

Her old demos were the absolute best, though.

I actually don't care if a review hates the album, but at least TALK ABOUT THE ALBUM AND WHY YOU HATE IT.

So many bad reviews just go on and on about everything other than the music.

The Guardian review CLEARLY liked the album with the final score, yet the review was just a mumble of bullshit about Lana. Great, you don't like her, but you've rated the album well so you clearly have something positive to say about it, so....you know......can we....hear it, since its a MUSIC REVIEW.

You're trash if you think other fans are inferior for being newer/less knowledgeable.
Better to go with the forum's official passive aggressive expression of old news:

I like both versions of Black Beauty but I feel like there should have been a middle ground between the simplistic demo and the overproduced final product.
