Yeah FIILY is different on physical copies. She mentioned how the album had to be done 90 days before the release and that she can't change anything after that cause of physical copies. FIILY's the last song she did for this album, they probs changed the beats after the album was already "done".

ik a lot of people hate the setlist this tour, and i get that since most of you have probably seen her live before, but as someone who's never seen her live and is finally getting to in less than a week, I'm honestly really happy about the setlist and am still very excited to see my idol sing these songs. i wish she would add some honeymoon because it's my favorite album along with NFR!, but i have no problems with the songs she has been singing as i love every song she's ever released. <3

I’ll never understand the love for Shitrens, just a bunch of demos that all sound the same. It’s so boring bar 2-3 songs.

what is it exactly, if not trash? or, more accurately, trashly produced?

look back at her discography. bel air, old money, terrence loves you... all the beautiful piano based ballads she has done.
hope couldve been up there with them, but instead jack decided to throw on some repetitive lq ass piano for 5 minutes, expecting the listener to enjoy it.
he definitely didnt bother to properly produce this track, and just threw a one-instrument instrumental to get the song done with (looking for america tease, that shit was clearly finished with in 10 minutes).
there is clearly little to no effort put in the production.

hope is the literal dictionary definition of a badly produced song.

im so concerned she will stick with jack again since she called him up for looking for america last month... hes still her 1st go to producer

praying every night before i sleep that she RUNS back to emile haynie and dan heath or at least rick nowels. jack was cute for one album but we dont need any more whispering over guitar instrumentals.

Still can’t get over how beautiful FROOT is.

There isn’t a single song i dislike on it, and i would be happy to see her perform any song from it (only witnessed 5 of the songs live and they were some of the best performances marina did on the night).

Really hope we get something in the same vein for M5 (if it happens). I’m not asking for exactly FROOT 2.0, but bring back some more of the instrumentation like before.

I agree. It really didn't need to be so stripped down

I think the production was poor. I think the song should have been more elevating and orchestral. Seen a performance of it on XFactor by someone else and it really shown how better it could have been. It is an overrated song by the fan base IMO.

my only problem with the production on the album is with hope.
i genuinely cannot believe there is a single soul who can truly enjoy this trash of a song.

Never understood the Born To Die hate even by her fans. Get’s boring hearing it’s ‘over produced’ (it isn’t it’s very well produced and has beautiful soundscaping) and ‘not genuine blah blah blah!’, it’s indie dream pop and is heavily influenced by Americana, it’s the whole idea of the album it’s a concept. She’s an artist and can channel whatever personality she pleases, if people want some basic bitch without any asthetic go listen to Adele.

Reveiwers are BIASED and heavily influenced by exsisting opinions, as soon as other artists started respecting Lana and she sold over 5 million and 10 million+ singles in the first year or so critics opinions gravitated. It became clear all the bullshit they spoke about to begin with was exactly that....bullshit. Now Born To Die is ranked frequently by the same critics and media outlets as one of the best albums of the decade and is still influential 8 years later.

It could have been easy for critics to slam Ultraviolence in the same way as BTD if opinions didn’t shift, They could have called it out for being another album about bad boyfriends, sadness and another rehash of Nirvana and grunge influences.

I mean we're quite a lot of people here, and Instagram, and twitter, and Reddit that think the production is quite lackluster and the mastering is a little off? Guess what? We're both tired of each other, but we're all part of the same fandom and we all have the right to our different opinions. Get used to it. Besides you're allowed to go on and on about how we're all crackheads that live in our mom's basement and listen to Lana's Sad Girl songs from her Sad Girl days on a loop, and that just because we don't like the production of this record? Sorry, but I've never made gross assumptions based on the kind of music some fans here like to listen to, let alone call anyone a drug addict or made fun of their living situations. You tried.

The production and mastering is still terrible though.

BTD: 62 (deserved for being a disingenuous, shallow, and inauthentic record)
UV: 74 (deserved for having a pretty shitty second half, but now we said it)

NFR!: 87 (magnum opus, authentic, stripped away from the LDR persona)

    Are YOU tired?

You all pretty much tell on yourselves when you scream, cry, and throw tantrums about wanting Rick Nowels (who produced her worst record LFL and worst song on NFR) and that hack Dan Auerbach back. Get over it.
