Ok guys how is NFR sitting with y’all? For me, it is a very different listening experience from all the other records, like it doesn’t feel like the kind of record that you would pick a song and blast it like ok I want to blast National Anthem, it’s more like ok I’m going to put the record on and listen to the whole thing, like once I play one song I HAVE to listen to all the other songs (well not HTD). Do you know what I mean?

That’s exactly how I feel!

I agree, most of the songs are better listened to in context. For example, listening to hope alone can be very brain damaging, however, if you listen to the album as a whole you realize that hope is a beautiful intimate closer.

Alright people, this post is for those of us who were lucky enough to get early entry tickets. So I’ve been trying to get in touch with ticketmaster and accorhotels management to get an idea of how many early entries were sold so that we could have a rough idea of how long in advance we need to show up at the gates if we want to make it to front row. Unfortunately no one was able to tell me. The venue capacity is around 20,000 but because it’s not clear how many of those are seating and how many are standing I guess our only option is to show up very early in the morning. Sorry I couldn’t be of anymore help. x

Honestly I did not know who the guy was so I looked up his review of Ultraviolence. For someone blowing his own trumpet so damn much, not knowing The Other Woman was an old song I had to laugh. I could care less what he thinks. His total lack of acknowledgement of the fact that Lana literally has inspired a whole culture and has dozens of artists literally copying her lyrics, imitating her imagery and basically mimicking her is not only laughable but also proof that what he tries to pass on as objective analysis is really just personal dislike so yeah he can bugger off.

Yo what I love Christmas but that production was so uncalled for on that song and sounds so cheap I swear I gave it more than one try to let it sink in and grow on me it just won’t happen they must have been strung out on neon when they approved of that

it's not only the jingles imo... her voice is drowned in the track when it should have been the focus instead of the horrible instruments they decided to use 

maybe if we are vocal about it they'll release a piano version of HTD. The version we deserve after 1 year of waiting!

How To Disappear 3% is still too high. Love Lana but Jack needs to watch his pay cheque cut in half for butchering that song.
