gonna be honest im quite tired of this PC sound... i get that each artist is diverse in their own way but i'd like for someone that isn't reminiscent of stuff she's been releasing for the last three years to produce her next work. the whole loud, autotuned glitchpop is getting tired for me. while i enjoy tracks from this era i feel like its time to move on to a new sound.

I agressively agree on this. It's a sort of useless obsession I have with arranging unreleased songs by era that I can't stand when people make albums with random songs. But that's just my obsessive and stupid self - don't mind me too much.
Anyways, I replayed XCX World today - because of this thread, actually, and I refreshed my admiration for the sequence of Bounce - No Angel - Taxi - Down Like Whoa. It's almost like a mainstream pop trascending moment  The sequence of Can You Hear Me followed by Waterfall also is pretty much meant to be.

girls night out is filled with such a vibrant energy. I love that song so much  I hope she doesn't take it out of the setlist when the pandemic ends and she does live shows again, I've been waiting to hear it for such a long time ):
