I must admit I do feel uncomfortable with the name dropping in the beginning but she does have a point (although she could’ve just not named anyone and still made the same point). I’m proud of her for sticking up for herself and I think that she deserves to write about what she wants. us as fans are always gonna support her and listen to what she has to say whether it’d be good or bad. she has helped so many people around the world with her music; the music that she herself made and wrote, unfiltered. yes, maybe it was uncalled for, the name dropping, but she did get her point across; if they can write about being sexy, wearing no clothes, fucking, cheating etc. she believes that she can do that too without having to put up with the critics that have been so harsh on her for the past 10 years. I Def feel her and her frustration but namedropping mostly women of color wasn't a way to go about it. Twitter stans will get bored soon enough but no one's going to want to give her the benefit of the doubt after she dated a cop who's racially profiled black people on TV and called him "one of the good ones" lol. I'm just glad she probably won't see that and it'll fade into the background soon enough. I'm here for this Lana, the Lana that tells critics they crossed a line when they go too far (like w Ann Powers), the Lana who posted so openly on mother's day about how the day is difficult for her in so many ways. She's taking no prisoners.

I dont think Lana feels like she has a place in modern Feminism which is why she never cared for it. Modern feminism is focused on destroying the image of the “submissive” woman. I believe all types of women should be celebrated. If you wanna be a stay at home mom or go out and make your own company, you do you. But don’t shame other women just because their feminism doesn’t look the same as yours on the surface. She also mentioned in her post, women who get their voices taken away from them by stronger women. Shes probably just been judged so much for who she truly is so she doesnt feel apart of it.

hope is a powerful song with rich lyrics but as someone already said it has no replay value and that’s why people say it’s bad. maybe we feel the song is really personal to lana and next to all the other songs (which aren’t as personal) it’s a “bad” song. anyway, the majority put hope in the second half of their rankings (including myself) but that’s because you don’t really choose to listen to it, right? you listen to it because it’s on the album, whereas the other songs can be played randomly. it takes a special mood to listen to hope and that’s why many people dislike it.

why does the majority dislike tnbar? i find myself really enjoying it and I actually really like what she did w this version. and love song too??? it’s always so low on everyones rankings and my feelings get so hurt because the second I heard the first snippet of it I knew this was gonna be one of my favorite songs and that’s still true lol. anyways heres my two cents.

I hate this requirement so much. I always find the best picture but I have to resize it to look like sh*t just to upload it.
 
I use Paint on my computer to resize it until it's at or below 100kbs or whatever the maximum is. (I check the image size in its properties when I right click it in my documents wherever ive saved it)
 
Or if you don't know how to do that it might be easier to find a image resizer/compressor tool online or an app. Some you have to keep resizing until you have the right file size, or some let you choose the file size.

hi I’m fairly new to lanaboards and idk where to ask this but I’ve been struggling with putting on a profile pic because the photo I choose is always “too large”.
so I was wondering if anyone could help w this
