I expected more from Alice, the whole album sounds like something from 2015 that wasn't really modernized 5 years later? 

i think this album will be grower but no way she spent 3 years working on this thing unless she had a solid album then bloodpop came in and changed it all up (love + fear tease)

she obviously doesn't have a passion for making pop music anymore i'd much rather her put her creativity and energy into a genre that she enjoys making

A few of us on AnalBoards made a Lana Del Ray booklet and I threw it on stage mid-show. My friend and I kept pointing to it and she eventually came over to the barrier to ask what we were motioning towards. She went over, picked it up, and read through it between songs - and came back over to thank me for how nice it was.  

The show lost a lot of it's appeal after Jessica Lange left the show for me. Jessica Lange perfectly balanced bringing a more serious tone to the show, while it still being camp. After Freakshow, the show feels like it's being campy just for the sake of being campy, with no real artistic identity behind it.

I find Stupid Love to be one of the most interesting songs as well tbh...the "all i ever wanted was love" bit is more of an earworm than any other moment 

I think we were talking more like an Act 2/b sides/demos etc for Chromatica not Artpop tho

Gaga seems to be like someone who moves on quickly if her work is criticized. If her album is panned by the critics, I'd expect her to run with her tail between her legs and scrapping anything else "Chromatica"-related she might have planned. I even fully expect that if this album isn't well received, the future Chromatica Ball will be more of a Greatest Hits Tour than a Chromatica tour (like Madonna with Re-Invention Tour after AL). 

the whole Chromatica TV and Bloodpop saying this makes me think she's trying a 2020 approach to what she wanted to do with ARTPOP and the app. That was a little too ahead of it's time, but I feel doing things like that now would work

Her Shades of Cool performance still gives me goosebumps. I am so happy I saw that tour live - and she paused a show to speak to me from stage 

It's a really good pop song in my opinion

this should get ruthlessly panned by critics but its almost so boring and pathetic that it doesnt even deserve to get that level of scrutiny

Y’all gonna cancel me but I think Coachella is good. I wouldn’t call it gorgeous per se, but I don’t think it’s bad by any means

ive never heard an electropop/house album with this little energy 
 
like....the beats are so sterile and weak and the songwriting is embarrassing. the entire album is just a flatline with barely any tempo changes. the only exciting moment being an interlude's transition into 911, which quickly becomes one of the worst songs shes ever written after the first verse 
 
i honestly feel sorry for people defending this

This is the first project I ever heard from her and I can't lie this is quite underwhelming, it sounds very dated and generic, Stupid Love is a highlight on first listen... So I guess that says a lot about the other tracks lol
 
I wished the record sounded more like the interludes and the Elton John collab, that was an amazing song, other highlights for me would be Enigma and 911
 
This could have been a good 10 album track, it's not bad at all, it's just underwhelming in my opinion

gaga and her producers using ten fucking thousand different kinds of expensive synthesizers only to end up with smth RuPaul did 10 years ago. i fucking hate her.

i fucking knew she'd manage to make Free Woman even more cheap sounding than it already was. god she's so dumb.
