Hmmmmm...I'm not usually a big fan of collabs, but Groupie Love was so good I might be here for another hip-hop duet. 
 
I just don't feel like that would work with anything I've heard from Antoff?

poetry is such a broad description of a literary work, no one can really have the authority to say what is or isn't poetry! (also why poetry analysis courses are the easiest english courses to get an A in--total GPA booster)

Twitter needs to be shut down. It’s already a national security threat. Just looks at who Twitter’s most infamous user is....

That tweet about her looking "racist" with these pictures embedded is really hurtful. The toxic culture of twitter is damaging and at some point, it is going to catch up - especially because consequences aren't necessarily immediate for people who band with whatever prominent hateful rhetoric the culture is spewing. I hope Lana is able to see past all of these rude and uncalled-for comments. 

"performative allyship" is not applicable when an individual takes time out of their personal schedule to visit marginalized communities and actively engage in one-on-one conversations with them. That is true and direct activism. 
 
furthermore, "burying my head in the sand" is actually just "minding my own business when it comes to someone's personal life"--judging someone's moral purity based on who they fall in love with does not contribute to solving any real world problems. Wether Lana does or does not date a cop, and may visit him in Tusla, does not impact wether or not there is racial injustice in the world one way or another...those two things are not mutually exclusive. 
 
the constant outrage of "oh no she shouldn't date a cop because cops are bad and thus she must be bad" is the definition of "performative allyship". it serves no purpose.

Or maybe she just doesn’t mention it because it really shouldn’t matter to anyone how she chooses to spend her free time? Just because she wants to visit her possible BF, doesn’t mean her good work is completely negated?

Also for what it’s worth, as a straight man, I totally would (anyone in that pic). But remember, you can separate the art from the artists. You don’t have to love every little thing about the person (her personal life, her friends) to love the art

kevin abstract worked with antonoff after he heard Venice Bitch and his latest album has some similar production. i think he’d be a pretty good fit for a collab

i assure you its the lens/lighting/trick of the camera...my mother (though about 14 years older than Lana) gets fillers, and while she looks amazing (and perfectly human) in person, on camera she looks weirdly inflated and plastic...
 
Lana has always used her old Hollywood look as a part of her art and stage persona, and she will always be beautiful

Now as much as I admire an Individual with an honest opinion, I find that you didn’t listen to these words in the way they were meant to be perceived. Who are you to say what poetry is when poetry is art and art is limitless expressions. You simply cannot determine what is someone else’s art especially when it is a raw, honest, authentic body of work. I’ll have you know many of these poems aren’t about a man but about Lana herself and those pieces of her past that once controlled her every thought. To move forward constantly in the rough patches life brings in the name of self realization is beautiful and many people will never truly do so- however the way Lana has done this is her very own way of coping. I don’t expect you to agree with everything she’s saying but this is a huge leap for the woman and I am very proud. Maybe try giving it another listen with your mind wide open, eyes shut, and lips sealed- remembering this is a walk through an artists mind, someone who’s been damaged and deranged her whole life ..

I doubt there’s a collab between them, Twitter accounts like that speculate often. The amount of times we’ve heard of collabs with Marina, Nicki, etc. and they’ve obviously never happened LOL so I think it’s safe to say this one can be debunked. But who knows?
 
Plus, I don’t see any indications of Lana’s headspace being centred in hip-hop, which was quite visible in mid 2017 and was therefore reflected in LFL. I think this will be something in the vein of NFR and Honeymoon with something new.

I always found her to be a little “off”. Her humour seemed to be best when making fun of people/making her guests uncomfortable. I stopped watching her show on YouTube after she made fun of Saoirse Ronan for (possibly) being a virgin after she told ellen she “doesn’t date”....just something that didn’t sit right.
 
But beyond that, this issue is not all about Ellen and how she treats her guests—and my intention wasn’t to create an “everyone hates ellen thread”. A toxic workplace is a very serious thing, that impacts the personal and professional lives of many who work there adversely.

poetry does not ALWAYS have to follow a clear rhyme and perfect stanza routine...
