What if For Free is not a cover but an original song about her looking for a social media manager who doesn't want to be payed for the service... she obviously needs one, I guess the label doesn't give her enough budget to hire one.

This part of the era where we find out song descriptions is both my favorite part and the most painful 

It's really interesting that Lana has Weyes Blood ends the record. I get why people would be upset about it but it's kind of a beautiful gesture, especially with the reviewer saying that she really sounds like Joni in the closing moments. Lana really looks up to her idols and has been treated well by many of them, like Joan Baez, Stevie Nicks, Bruce Springsteen, etc, so it's almost like she's passing on that kindness to someone else she admires.
 
Lana has been searching for this community of hers for so long and it seems like she's finally found it. The album cover makes a lot more sense to me now. It's like this whole album is a cross-country road trip and that picture could have been a casual moment taken at one of her stops along the way as she catches up with old friends. Nikki's feature is like another stop across the country where she plays a song at a bar with another old friend. It makes sense that she technically debuted the song in that way.
 
Like @Dragon pointed out perfectly, there's this theme of fostering love from other women and being able to be who she wants to be. I think these elements will be the safety and hope that balance the darker themes about the struggles she's faced in the industry and the longing for her simpler past.

I think this song will be one of the Highlights...can't wait to hear the organ,  her sky-high drill and her romanticising wanderlust

I still think I’ll wait 1-3 years before I buy the CD album though, just so I can get it for a cheaper price.

Wait, what if this was the strategy all along? Giving us an ugly cover and then releasing a thousand variants so we would rush to buy them? It's actually genius, her mind 

not trying to distract from the current discourse but I just realized Woman=LMLYLAW—honestly assumed Woman was an unreleased track I hadn’t heard
 
anyways Woman has aged like wine. Is it my favorite single? No, but it’s really honest emotional expression & will probably be a pleasant intermission from the heavier topics on COCC

Ok but why aren't they updating her socials pfps with new promo shots? 
I'm tired of seeing the Doin' Time single cover and that BTS picture taken by her hair stylist on the set of the greatest 

So considering Mojo’s 100 NFR score and Chemtrails 80 score I’m hoping this album falls in around an 83-84. I don’t expect the insane praise NFR got, though I do think I’ll personally enjoy this album more than that. I’m just hoping, on an artistry level, that’s she’s gained enough traction from the last record to maintain great scores. A handful of critics around NFR claimed that her previous records were underrated and if it’s on the same level as those I’m hoping they at least score it like they should have scored her earlier stuff.

nfr was critically acclaimed because it was safe, plain & simple, that doesn't mean that it was a bad album, or a boring album, but it didn't feel as in-depth and nuanced as her previous work, it's obvious that she's maturing as an artist, which is great, but nfr didn't quite have the polarizing, in-depth feel that, let's say, honeymoon has, i'm feeling confident that cotcc will be more of an honest and impactful body of work like honeymoon, especially since she's expressed that she doesn't want to limit herself and her artistry

She subconsciously catered to the critics and what the world wanted from Lana Del Rey. A woman who isn't controversial. A woman who "stays in her lane." Her best albums (Honeymoon, UV, and likely Chemtrails) have a unique, and often polarizing identity that isn't made for everyone. NFR! doesn't have an identity, as much as I love it. She even notices it herself: "there's nothing NOT to like about Norman."
