I get that it has to be frustrating to log onto social media and see shit like that, but the fact that she gives it enough energy to comment is just giving fuel to the fire like just don’t comment

I think my mom will enjoy this album. I had high ish hopes but the only song I liked was Garden of Eden after a few listens.
I’m pretty surprised by the disco influence here, feels like she’s a few years late to a trend that’s already mostly run its course. And it did feel more like trend hopping than a natural shift in her sound, but that’s just me. Hated the Taylor Swift song. But above all, the main issue for me is her throaty OTT Joanne voice all over this–it lends itself fine to ballads, jazz, country, and some rock, but on a fun pop album it just sounds out of place. I did appreciate that she played more with her vocals throughout this album than she has in the past few albums though.
After Joanne, ASIB, Chromatica, Harlequin, I think I finally have to accept that she isn’t going to excite me anymore or bring anything new to the table the way she used to.

Leaks don’t seem to be a thing these days, sadly. I haven’t been this excited about a Gaga album since ARTPOP though, I’ve always wanted her to return to the fame monster/BTW sounds and from what I’m hearing about the record it delivers.

Shut the fuck up
edit: let me explain. The US has a massive part to play for the way things are in Ukraine and Europe at the moment. The Budapest memorandum mandated Ukraine to give away its nuclear weapons to Russia, with the US (and other countries guaranteeing its security). In 2014 when Putin annexed Crimea, Obama did absolutely nothing. Trump then went in and stopped lethal military sales to Ukraine, undermining its military capacity to withstand an invasion. Then Trump got mad at Zelensky for not giving him info on Hunter Biden for him to use in his campaign. Ukraine has been teased with NATO membership and other types support by the US for decades l. Meanwhile the US started several middle eastern wars that led to millions of civilian deaths and a massive refugee crisis in Europe, which undermined the region’s security and led to the rise of the far-right. The US has been using Europe as a launchpad for its global operations for years hiding behind “securing the continent” clauses. Now they make it out as if Europe is piggybacking on US defence as if the US didn’t get anything out of this alliance. Honestly fuck American foreign policy.

This prerelease is so funny because it’s been so long since she announced the album but the actual album prerelease era (time between lead single and album drop) is gonna be so short. Kinda the opposite of NFR if you think about it

Evil Zelensky, who didn’t want to bend the knee in a humiliation ritual to a bunch of clowns, crooks and couch fuckers who can’t find their ass with a mirror.

Exactly.
As I said elsewhere a few days ago, the US has very much promoted - for a very long time - the notion that they are the world's referee, and you cannot spend decades shaping and upholding that (many times via violence) only to take it away within a few weeks or months.
This is precisely why Donald is so dangerous. It's okay for him to say "we won't be doing this going forward" and "other countries need to spend more on defence" but you can't just suddenly pull the plug and not expect utter chaos as a result. This is not in the best interest of Americans. Maybe it wouldn't affect Americans directly (at least not initially) but if the rest of the world descends into a shitshow, it absolutely does affect every person on the planet, including Americans.
Emboldening Putin means emboldening others who may seek to invade other countries or to otherwise do people harm. If people like Putin are reassured that the US will not act to stop them, then there is no deterrent. This is about so much more than Ukraine.
I don't know if he doesn't understand this or if he just doesn't care because he's a 78 year old narcissist.
