Something about Peppermint keeps me coming back. It's so hypnotizing. I'm really hoping I get to hear the song at least once in my life, but I doubt that'll happen. Bubblebath outtakes are being hoarded and rarely anyone has them. I'm happy however that someone chose Spare Key over Peppermint, because if we had Peppermint right now, I would be dying to hear Spare Key.

i did a cover and vynil concept for my take me to the moon album. i used some of the songs from the original take me to the moon ep and the songs from the 2013 ep sessions. i think it looks really cute! how do you guys organize her earlier songs?

I finally listened to the new album.

i Love the production and how upbeat it is (even the ballads).
The lyrics are a bit too much on the nose and a bit too much « wOkE pOp » (the contradictions are way too easy to find out lol), but the beats and prod are able to salvage the weaker texts.
i really love her voice, how reminiscent of her early albums it is.
really like it, and Lorde’s as well, at the moment. I needed some lighter and poppier stuff to begin summer with, and as much as I love the three Lana singles and how they form a sorta EP, it is very heavy in terms of content (I call it the Trauma EP haha), and Marina’s newest one is a breath of fresh air in-between Lana’s albums.

just went though the album and weirdly all the singles fit so much better in context with the whole album. i had low expectations cause i wasn’t obsessed with the singles at all but i actually kinda really liked it. flowers was my favorite

it makes me SICK how in every post about the fire there's thousands of people saying "karma" because of the x factor thing. GOD I HATE EVERYONE THAT STILL CARES ABOUT THIS SHIT TO THIS DAY, anyone with more than 2 braincells knows that it was staged and even if it wasn't, HOW IN GOD'S NAME is being rude to a contestant on an irrelevant reality show a good motive to 7 YEARS of being bombarded by hate everywhere she goes????

people make me sick. very sad and i'm glad she's ok, knowing her history since she was a child i know she's such a strong person and will be fine, but everything that happened to her after x factor and now this just makes me so so sad. i also love her music and now we're not gonna get a comeback for a good while (not that this is the most important thing about this situation, you know)
