The thing that really bothers me about Taylor's writing is that she pretends her songs are super meaningful when in reality she's just saying shit and writes entire songs around a single word / quote she finds cool... some people may enjoy that but I find it extremely annoying. Not to mention the constant Lana plagiarism that she passes off as inspiration. I've had this discussion sooo many times where people would be like "oh yeah? then explain this [random song from Folklore]" and it's still the most generic thing I've ever read. Just hearing some of the lyrics of Midnights songs from when they're on the radio make me wanna kill myself because they're SOOO CRINGE (Anti-Hero and Karma looking @ u) Anyways... i'm just rambling at this point. Why Candy Necklace music video flopped: 1. Visually unappealing (When I say this, I mean the BTS scenes ruin the video even though that was the point but...yeah) 2. No promo 3. It was never a popular song on the album 4. It's 10 minutes and it was never a popular song on the album 5. No promo 6. It was re-uploaded 3 different times in the span of 5 hours 7. No Promo: Random Upload on a Wednesday Edition Still wish they did a directors cut of the "tragic movie star" scenes they were showing through the professional clips because I genuinely think that would have been one of her most popular videos. The whole concept should have been changed into having 2 different videos: One "fake" professional recorded video, then the second being the BTS "real" recorded one. It just became a jumbled mess with the switching back and forth

I was really excited and hyping this up but I'm so disappointed. The song is fun but Britney literally isn't singing for 90% of the song. It's so blatantly obvious Myah Marie is singing everything minus "mind ya b, mind ya b, mind ya b, mind ya b....mind your beesness" part, and these vocals are also clearly not new and from 2012/2013... It's sooooo annoying because Britney would have recorded the entire song but they insist on removing her vocals and replacing them with Myah Marie... GIVE US BRITNEY
