Am i the only one that feels weird whenever Lana acknowledges her past self?
Like i think of Lana in 1985-2010 and 2011-2014 and 2015-2020 as completely different people, and she doesn't talk about her past very often...
Like in the post today, 2012 Lana Del Rey was so vastly different to the present Lana Del Rey in so many ways and it feels weird that they're the same woman 

I think it's because we all know that Lana is more active on social media before an album drops

Lana's recent random posts make me even more confident that the album is dropping Sept 4/5 for some reason.  

Wasn’t Hollywood recorded around paradise era? And she said she wants to officially release it with the correct production.. going back to her roots.... yup Hollywood best song about to arrive

Likely that she just followed for his show content, but maybe a performance/interview is on the way?
 
Wouldn’t seem far fetched since the album comes out in 2 weeks! Maybe some promo is slated for the first week of September!

Yeah I think it'd make a lot of sense if there is a song on COCC related to the SNL debacle. Question for the Culture was very much about how she felt she's been unfairly dealt with in comparison to other artists, and in her mind, I'm sure SNL is a prime example.
Plus all of these circa 2012 videos and things she's been posting ...
It all ties together + why she's releasing on a Saturday if she really is fucking releasing it

In hindsight, knowing that her horrible episode of question for the Culture was actually about bullshit criticism made by music writers early on, and that a lot of that criticism came from her, let's say uncomfortable, SNL performance. Those potential theme and lyrics would actually make a lot of sense.

I definitely think the Saturday night lyrics are Lana related. The night Jack tweeted them for the second time, Lana tweeted “so damn hot tonight” and they would fit together to make a rhyming stanza!
