Those in attendance include Lana's sister Chuck Grant, their brother Charlie Grant, close friend Sveta Matiunina, close friend and dancer Alex Kaye, and Alex's fiancé Curtis Sumlin.

I have a really vivid memory of someone saying that nobody should be engaging with the Lizzy Grant era or listening to the music from it because it was "the worst time in Lana's life and so much horrible stuff happened to her". Nobody would even know if that was true or not, but it's fully just making stuff up because afaik Lana never said that  Others in this thread have mentioned the way people on TikTok treat the AKA/Lizzy Grant era, but that one comment always sticks out in my mind

people heard the “pro-ana” lyric in boarding school… a satirical song… & wrote a whole fanfic about how lana suffered from an eating disorder

Having your own personal interpretation based on your experiences is awesome and the best part about consuming other people's art, but don't accuse the artist of having those experiences ! 

In general people dramatizing her past like that. I once read a comment like "Reminds me of her stripper days" or people thinking she was once a heroin addict (a true heroin addict looks ... different) or my favorite, some fans (especially the newer ones) still believing that the Ride mv is a true story. 
 
They take eeeevery story she tells through her music and videos seriously. The only art form that really tells her story as it is are her poems in my opinion.

while struggling with alcoholism a little bit it was nowhere NEAR as bad as pre-fordham (from what we know obviously) and that seems to be the only thing that she has seemed to struggle with AT ALL
 
plus why are we talking about this in the first place i feel like this is digging WAY too much into her personal life even by stan standards
