I wonder if there would have been an invasion if Trump was still the President of the US and Angela Merkel still Germany‘s chancellor. What are your thoughts about it?
 
(I know it‘s a very unrealistic scene but I wish there was an upper age limit and term limits for all politicians worldwide or at least for all heads of state. I am sick of 70/80+ grandpas thinking they can play god whenever they want it.)

That I guess is true but saying this in a thread about Putin's completely unprovoked war, with people dying and losing their homes, is a little insensitive. You can say that you disagree with a government but it just sounds like you're making excuses for this war. Whatever you dislike about Zelensky kind of has no relation to what Putin is doing because it was never about justice or saving anybody. Putin is a right-wing imperialistic madman. That's the entire background of that war.

i think it’s less that we don’t learn and more that some people don’t care and the rest of us just have to watch in horror

Oh always. And being the leader of a country for way too long.

I know it's controversial but I just don't see it as a problem, land will be lost, houses, animals will go extinct but it's happened before and will happen again millions of times.
We see things in too small a time frame and want to protect everything and keep all the animals we have alive but it's not how it's meant to be. When animals go extinct eventually other animals take their place and evolve to fill in their roles. Just cause theres polar bears, rhinos and sloths just now doesn't mean they're always going to survive, some other animal will take over and houses will be rubuilt.
Plus the planet naturally goes through much warmer and much colder times, if a volcano went off or an asteroid hit which will eventually happen wether its 500 years or 50,000 then we can't do anything about it anyway. Can't regulate the temperature all the time from now on, it'll keep going up and down.

I feel like Global Warming isn't a big deal, it's happening and a big part is man made but wether it's man made, natural or anything the planet has heated and cooled a Million times before and is going to keep doing it regardless of what we do.

we exist in a time of overactivism and underaction. with the rise of social media now more than ever we have access to the fastest and most unbias WORLD news. This makes everyone want to solve everything, especially when they exist in a state of privelage/observation, like many people in first world countries. It also makes pretending to care so much easier for everyone. Once you have the proof that you supported said cause because you posted it on said day, its easier to not think about again. I think performative activism especially on platforms like instagram and twitter are perpetually more harmful than just staying silent tbh

Opinion a little unpopular concerning Lana's photo but I don't really like it, in fact I find this kind of photo is not cool, nor beautiful. It's just unnecessary and vulgar in a bad way. It's just a porn actress. The kind of photo to send in private to a person to fuck.  I don't know what she is trying to prove at the moment, I think she has too much confidence (not a bad thing but be careful) and she knows that everyone is going to approve of what she does no matter what, she tests and it works. In truth I think she and her ego have been hit hard by everything that has been said about her looks in the last year in the industry and trying to prove that she is fuckable for the guys in the industry. like "hey guys, look how hot I am!!"... 
 
She is already beautiful and sexy without completely undressing, what is she looking for? I respect the fact that it's her choice, her body, her freedom but she's not in a good vibe at the moment. Let her take a break, her music isn't the best and her childish behavior is starting to weigh. Sending this to supportive fans on the anniversary of a cult record is disrespectful.
