I would’ve felt so humiliated if someone dragged me up on stage after I just lost the award to that person. 

i know everyone keeps praising taylor for bringing lana up but like, i would have been so incredibly embarrassed. having an album thats critically acclaimed across the board, one of the most beautifully written and performed songs ever made, and then being made to sit in the front row and snubbed FIVE times in the same night. then youre on stage with everyone watching you, knowing that you got snubbed, while your friend accepts the award right in front of you. im sure shes happy for taylor but come on. it hurts

Quality lost and overexposure won but it’s still nice that Taylor acknowledged Lana. Certainly she believes what she said about Lana to be true but Lana deserved to have gone up that stage on her own merit for her own record - not someone else’s subpar collection of songs. 

I think I am more low vibrational than the rest of you cause i did not find that whole thing cute at all , dragging lana up there lowkey against her will... everyone running around like headless chickens for a good 10-20 seconds, idk what to think . sure I guess if no one else is gonna pay our queen her dues at least Taylor did like thx <3 !?  ... but yea idk its giving riding the coattails vibes which is so not the type of shit  lana would ever succumb to IDC she looked uncomfy

it's nice that taylor recognized her and shouted her out, BUT SHE WAS STILL COMPLETELY SNUBBED, i hope her label NEVER, EVER entertains the grammys ever again! clearly they don't care about her or her beautiful, DESERVING art, she's worth so much more, nothing that ever wins is that great anyway, it doesn't really mean anything anymore...

WHY do the Grammy voters fucking HATE Lana???? Like she has never been more relevant, iconic, crazy streaming numbers, critical acclaim…???? Fr this is a vendetta

If it’s Boygenius, I will be perplexed. Literally WHO and WHAT album?! Also - don’t understand why some artists needed multiple Grammys for the same song when the categories they won it for are basically the same? And at the expense of other artists like Lana? What kind of zero sum game is this…

I don't feel anything. this is very on brand of them. they got shat on by Jay Z. Billie said it was stupid to be winning in that one category. Travis Scott. I mean are we really insulted? Aside from gems, we're good. get it together. <3

they just love awarding the most palatable, digestible, basic stuff and playing it completely safe instead of awarding masterful, impactful, groundbreaking work and it's completely embarrassing  

I'm literally saying everything I can't here to personal friends in private messages because otherwise I would have at least 10 different users jumping on me for not supporting successful women or whatever 

Maybe it’s the wrong time to say this, but I can’t help but feel like Taylor’s new album title is an attempt to market herself as a Lana-esque writer…and it’s jarring how this coincides with Lana’s Grammy losses. Really shows you the unfairness of the situation, but Lana is above it all. The fact that she’s still making music and going deeper with time is the true win.

How did they not show Lana?? They showed so many people and not the person who's covered her and has a deep connection to her music? 

This lil video of Lana clapping for Billie makes me sooo sad She's so kind to not only applaud, but to stand for her. Most people were seated. Very respectful and classy of Lana. Though the look in her eyes does seem rather sad and longing.. she did pave the way after all x
