Hello there my dear flowers,
I am GangstersMoll; the writer of Paradise. It’s a book inspired by Lana Del Rey, she is also my main character. It is about a cabaret down in Las Vegas set in the 60s and 70s with a taste of dark and wild things in it. I make edits for the visuals of my story and I really wanna share my art with you. I said it before, I do not get paid or any kind of profit from it. It is only my art made for free.

Wasn't Taylor Swift always forbidden? The only way I made them was by writing Tay Swift. I made some yesterday but didn't post them here bc I didn't like the results. I can't try again tonight though bc I'm out of boosts

I would also like to know . I always just type "handsome man" for pics I want a man in the pic with Lana. A lot of the times they end up just looking like a male Lana though

One of them literally combined my request for Lana and a handsome man into this:

She was just 24 when she sang this live. It's a beautiful (sad) folksong. Her voice just gives me tingles here. 
 
 
It's a song she wrote for her sister Mimi and Mimi's husband, telling their love story. It's written so beautifully that it makes me cry and believe in true love again. 
 
 
A modern folk song that became a huge hit in the U.K. (in the 60s) My Mum used to play it a lot and she would use the expression "There but for fortune go I" in reference to all the injustices in the world 
 
 
Her most famous song, but it really is worth mentioning for a reason. This was written by her, not a folk song. Lana sung it in a duet with Joan. I think she also referenced the song in Blue Banisters, when she said "Except that one thing, the diamonds, the rust, and the rain."

I just saw that Joan has less than a million monthly listeners on Spotify. This is criminal 

at least give her a grammy for candy necklace mv, it was expensive

She was the original Madonna of music.  She was basically a quaker, didn't do drugs, didn't have sex, always bare foot, no makeup, etc, yet, YET! They would say she was a whore and a demon! They called her the Madonna of Greenwich village. It was so paradoxical what was said about her and who she was. She was playing guitar in this fantastical way, and singing strangely, and Bob couldn't believe it, or ever copy what she did, yet she was considered just " bobs girlfriend". It was crazy what she went. She was going to jail for protesting multiple times. ( What music artist today would go to jail for protesting?) Was one of the first popular people to protest the Vietnam war and refuse to give the IRS money which sparked a huge anti war movement.she promoted pacifism. She did so much and got no credit for it for many many years. 

so so nice to see lana so happy about her career again– esp live performance. not crazy about most of the setlist recently BUT she is really feeling being back on stage, putting real effort into vocals, and it's just so lovely to see her enjoy the fruits of so many years of making art again.

i don't think lana would be friends with joan baez or speak so highly of her if joan was really rude to her or dismissive of her, they literally appeared together for a photoshoot not too long ago, we shouldn't really assume what a person's like based off of what they said in interviews or posts on social media

Cause she's the queen of folk music, has inspired countless other folk singers, and also inspired lots of women on women rights which was somewhat taboo in the 60s, as well as civil rights, walking with MLK. She was extremely influential to so many but never really got the recognition for it, kinda like Lana.  She was my mom's favorite and my mom was obsessed with her and always playing her music. Like how people like Billie elish got started by playing Lana songs. Joan did that and inspired confidence for countless women. Joan is really big deal but it's not really know  in mainstream culture. 
Joan did more for women of that era than anyone. Hands down.
