Just saw the silliest TikTok: "Did you know Portals originally had this aesthetic?" followed by a ton of fanmade edits, mixed in with random Instagram photos and calendar pictures (as if Melanie hadn't shown herself sketching a pink four-eyed character in 2018!)
 
But it got worse... "The album was originally revolved around medieval dynastys & folktales". The literal fanfiction being spread around as fact   some of these Twitter and TikTok stans are really a different breed

Spider Web will be the TikTok hit and the most streamed song on the album, I’m calling it now 
 
People with taste everywhere will lose, and it will reinforce her putting nonsensical lyrics over microwaved beats for the rest of time 

Handstand is so good, she suits this style so well. I wish she'd ultimately ditch the pop stuff and just continue with this sound, it's where she stands out as an artist.

It’s hard for me to digest this album: endless SUMMER vacation, as I stand here on the train platform in torrential rain. This album should’ve definitely been released later in the year. I can think of another album that would match this environment a lot better…

Ugh loved all her summer 2019 radio interviews. Seems like she’s back in that really serene and content temperament. Can’t wait to hear everything she has to say on the air

Actually love the look this time and the new snippet is really good too  Hopefully we get a single announcement this Friday if it really is coming on the 17th

The first few snippets we got were on par with the leaks for me, but Spider Web and this song have areas where they could be improved (even though I do like the larynx one)
