I don't really know and I have no concrete evidence, but I still think the song NFR is about Jonathan Wilson, and maybe other songs of the album, and also some poems of Violet. Maybe all this is too far fetched, but I really thinks he had a big impact on her, and on her art. This is my interpretation that I had in mind since a long time, and of course I could be totally wrong.

Having a though for the French who have the chance to see Lana this evening. With 10 years younger, I would have tried to get tickets to be there too. Bon concert !

The problem is that you have to mobilize a lot of police to maintain security because there are riots and looting all over the country, so there are not enough left for certain events such as concerts in stadiums or festivals. Lana's concert is in a small venue, which manages the security itself, so I don't think it will be canceled and I think it will be over by then.

Yeah it's probably her fault, but we don't really know. She didn't commit a crime either. Maybe it's time to forgive.

No, I don't think it's just you, I feel it too. With Fingertips in particular, her choice of words, the tone of her voice, and that sort of serene desperation, it feels like she's speaking directly to our hearts or our souls. But based on our own life experience, I can accept that it doesn't resonate the same for everyone. I mean, I am always moved by tragedies, but that might not be what everyone is looking for in her.

I love it I feel like Lost at sea and Hollywood Bowl are two pretty songs that you can listen when you need the time to stop, to focus on your inner thoughts. I think these two songs and maybe the whole album is about that feeling which is close to meditation. So calming and we need it.

I lost my whole heart to these lyrics and instrumentals the day I first listened to this song. Something about my relation to Lana has since changed. I think I would just give her a comforting hug if I could, and stop asking her for anything more.

It's not bad at all actually. I am not far from saying she's right.

This sound in Taco Truck, which sounds like tire squealing. I love this addition to the VB part, it amplifies the feeling of driving fast.

I discovered Lana in 2011 in the french magazine Les inrocks. In their website they shared the videos of Video Games, Blue Jeans (the first one) and Kinda outta luck. I was immediately fascinated by her art and her aesthetics. And then I remember that every song which was released on youtube at the time, one by one, was like a little miracle : Diet mtn dew, born to die, off to the races, national anthem... And so I became a fan.

At this point, I can't imagine any other answer than Fingertips. I love this song so much, but since the first time i listened to it, I can't help worrying about her.
