Not saying she supports Trump, but me personally, i'm afraid she is throwing away all of the ideals she had fought for in the past for a man such as Jeremy.
Â
It's not about judging her, it's about being critical about her decisions and the things she stands for (or we think she does), i love Lana with all my heart, i think she has truly saved my life in some sort of way, but that does not mean us as fans have to let slide the fact she married a publicly and apparently proud MAGA supporter after the political idea she has built over the years.

Neon Palmmm liked a post in a topic by jellyfish in Lana Del Rey Albums as _______
LDR albums as human organs & why:
AKA - liver - most active between 1 to 3 AM, and for me this album has a very summer night vibe BTD - brain - most important, most known Paradise (EP, but shut up) - eye - very visual and very pretty, just like the album Ultraviolence - lungs - harmed by cigarettes and provide oxygen to the rest of the body, the album just gives me a lung vibe Honeymoon -Â heart - in my mind honeymoon is very pinkish aesthetic wise and so is the heart Lust for Life - spleen - praised by people who know it ignored by the rest just like the organ NFR! - large intestine - absorbs useful stuff and everything after it is feces, just like this album is also one of the best and everything after it is a bit ... COCC - kidney - useful, but also can live without one just as you can ignore this album BB - appendix - actually good, but most people have negative opinions about it Ocean Blvd - mammary gland - just because of the cover where you can see Lana's boob -

me: reputation in tatters, married a bigot, radio silence at her streaming peak, arguing with instagram accounts, maga rumors swirling once again... lana del rey has one chance and she is not taking it. when will she release her next singleÂ
Â
chatgpt: Lana Del Rey's upcoming single, set for release next month, could mark a crucial moment in her career as she faces a mix of controversy and speculation. Despite the media noise surrounding her, including MAGA rumors and personal drama, she has a history of bouncing back creatively. With her single on the way, fans will be eager to see if it addresses any of the recent turbulence or sticks to the introspective, cinematic style sheâs known for. This could be her opportunity to reset the narrative and reestablish herself at her artistic peak.

Yeah wouldnât be surprised if her alleged texts that were leaked ended up being real. Lana is going to surrounded by Trump supporters now. Anyone who thinks this will not influence her in any way is being very optimistic. She started going to Churchome and within a few albums she gave Judah Smith a whole track.Â

not his two daughters among the nine likers (and three lovers)

now that I've taken a closer look at Alanna's FB account, I have the impression that Lana married into one of the worst fundamentalist families possible

i'm sorry but yeah this shit is just weird. saw his tiktok likes. saw his trump stuff, his anti-trans stuff. saw the video of him speaking -- yuck. if it's true that he has family that's been arrested for DV that shit is weird. i don't know if his daughters are racist based off of a could-be-fake screenshot, but it wouldn't be surprising. how did she not vet this person? why did she get married after 3 months? why did she do this? yooooo i don't get it. been a fan for 12 years, still going to stream the music. but now i have to imagine THIS is the man she's singing about in her new songs. jesus christ.

all of my beaded alligators have congregated and are ready to share their thoughts
Â
Â
the orange and red alligator is very disappointed that she has decided to marry him, stating that he finds his support for donald trump and his facebook posts and tiktok likes to be abhorrent, he is very afraid that she will also start to support trump, and will perform one of her songs at his inauguration should he win the election... god bless america - and all of the beautiful alligators in it
Â
the red and white alligator believes that everyone is being very overdramatic, oversensitive, and overly-involved, stating that everyone needs to shut the fuck up and just enjoy the music, he was completely overjoyed when he found out that his favorite musician finally found love and got married, and has been playing cinnamon girl, video games, bel air, yayo, yosemite, and sweet on repeat ever since it was revealed that they got married
Â
the orange and blue alligator wants to know ALL the tea, he wants the HQ wedding photos, he wants to know who attended, the recipe for the wedding cake, and if any of the dailymail rumors have any truth to them, going out of his way to let me know that he completely understands and sympathizes with her not wanting to keep the old crystals and their energy around
Â
the blue and green alligator is only interested in all about ethel and refuses to comment on the wedding

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the mods said discussing the marriage is on topic for this thread so I think it's fine to continue the discussion here, as long as it remains about Lana and Jeremy. Yesterday people were spiralling in other directions which is where the off-topic WPs came from.

Something that hasnât been mentioned yet, if you can believe it, is that her political shift (or lack thereof who knows) is actually benefitting her career. I noticed how when she started hanging out with some people and interacting with people like Morgan Wallen, was right around the time her instagram posts started getting a lot more likes and her monthly listeners increased and everything. The MAGA crowd likes people who dont speak on politics or shill Dump at every opportunity, so while there may be backlash from established fans I think she wonât feel any of it because theyâll all be replaced by this new crop of fans who now like her because she is with someone like her husband. Like when people like HRH Collection are your fans you know something is wrong. Sad to think about really.

Yea, but when he publicly promotes violence against transwomen that's a problem, it makes them less safe. I kind of get the feeling he wants certain beliefs of his known, ya know?

am i only one who dislikes the autotune in tulsa jesus freak and fishtails? like i know it gives a cool effect but i love lana's vocals the most when they're (naturally) clear, not muffled or robotic. i'd really really really like to hear crystal clear vocals on lasso.Â

You & Me is one of her best unreleased songs and I stand by that  should've been reworked into an interlude for honeymoon "Its just you and the sun now baby"
Mariners Apartment Complex and Venice Bitch were her best singles behind west coast  MAC her best song lyrically and def top 5 overall. the way VB and MAC reference each other so much AND how the NFR! cover recreates MACs lyrics literallyÂ
Guns and Roses one of the best off Ultraviolence and truly her most underrated song  the desert rock motorcycle biker groupie in Nevada listening to soft rock while riding with her daddy vibes are immaculate and the BRIDGE has incredibly imagery. best song to dramatically sway in your room to while high  AND the way the fanbase would shit itself if she released this song in 2021Â

Chemtrails is one of her worst music videos. People only think itâs the best because it has good SFX and shit.
Â
The story telling is terrible. Itâs just all happy and then bam itâs dark. Thereâs no transition or anything. Itâs just random and youâre left to infer what happened as opposed to seeing what has happened in a seamless transition throughout
Â
Instead of turning dark out of nowhere, I wish there where some scenes that hinted to that earlier in the mv. Like it looks innocent to begin with but you can tell something isnât quite right or maybe have scenes of her and her friends being happy but with random flickering dark imagery every now and again like in the 911 mv

I listen to Valley Of The Dolls way more than NFR (title track). I just really like the very calm atmosphere of the song .

I enjoyed COCC but it was too short and everything she's done since NFR seems rushed, imo
The 3 singles are definitely more like poems with music. There's no emotion in the instrumentals and tbh, Jack's work on VBBOTG had more sonic variation than these "songs" do (think of the final poem ... Linoleum?)
Mike Dean lied when he said Wildflowers was fire. There IS no fire and that's the problem. There's no anger, no sadness ... except in her voice.Â
You can't take a poem, employ repetition on a few lines and then say it's a song. It isn't.Â
And as I said above, the sheer extent of the namedropping makes these feel like personal diary entries which again, makes them seem more poem-y.
"Jenny's smoking by the pool"
"Chuckie's baking a birthday cake"
And whatever the fuck else
I do not care, idk about anyone else
Anyway I'm glad that others are enjoying these but I suspect the replay value won't be there

it doesnât help that during the COTCC pre-release Lana talked about how she wanted to expand the sound of the album and Jack talked about how they wanted to âstrip the songs downâ. There had to have been a miscommunication somewhere. While I agree Lana has a control over the sound, the songwriting process with Jack seems to be extremely different than other producers.Â
Â
with Rick, Lana would sing a melody and heâd try and find what chord she was singing and work around it. With Jack, he plays a chord and Lana tries to make a melody around it. So sheâs trying to work with Jack instead of Jack working with her, and the results show.Â
Â
The work theyâve done is nice and COTCC is one of my top Lana albums, but it does sound samey, and the most drastically âdifferentâ songs (Yosemite and BUS) were heavily worked on with someone else Â
