Ever since she put the trio after Arcadia I have never worried again about her getting stuck in a particular sound, she is simply too random and multitudinous

I don't think we're ever getting a full upbeat (or at least) midtempo album from Lana, even BTD was on the slower side even if it's her most "poppy" album.
I think her albums will always have her usual variety range from ballads to "bops" (even Chemtrails and BB had their fun moments).
 
But I have to say if she goes upbeat I hope is more FIILY drums upbeat and less synth-autotune like Cinnamon/TJF/Fishtail 
I like those songs but they always leave me wanting a bit more in a way

Tbh I think the beats are in the rear-view mirror for the moment- the version of VB on DYKTTATUOB is allegedly the original demo (from like 2018) and Jimmy is also from the NFR sessions- these pieces are 4-5 years old and are closer to the first half of Lust for Life than where she is now sonically imo

she just hasn't made a lot of folky music past that point! however, we also have mariner's apartment complex and venice bitch which i feel like could fit that description, and they are really nice, we could even consider songs like video games, bel air, guns and roses (yes, guns and roses!) and honeymoon, songs that are more mellow, into that category, they may not be folk, but they're more stripped-back, mellow/folky/stripped-back =/= bad, i mean, candy necklace is one of her best songs, it really is!
 
also, dragonslayer, nectar of the gods, and earthquakes, which are primarily or just acoustic guitar, i mean, it really doesn't get any better than dragonslayer

There are some interesting suggestions in the thread. The psychedelic country was interesting as well as some more hardened acoustic songs. 
So here's my take after getting back into her music again and what's she's been working on  recently.
If I were hanging out at Jack Antonoffs studio to design or consult for Lana's 10th album, this is how I would structure it.
 
I would start off with a theatrical or some type of themed intro and go into nature boy, or a nature boy interlude part 1, maybe with Jon, or jack, or rob on piano.
 
Next I would build some type of beat similar to her recent free style she recorded during sound check. Something kinda chill but also has a good beat and can flow, possibly hip hop like or danceable. Think like the roots meets jazz funk.
 
Then I would try to crank it up, and do some type of hardened acoustic song, or a more hardened dance beat type track like a and w or body electric. 
 
Then I would calm it down a bit, into some type of surf rock, or down tempo surf rock type of song, something like the greatest. 
 
Then would have a poetry interlude of some sort, which segways into a country type vibe. Which would go into a different version of stand by your man.
 
Then maybe another poetry piece of some sort which goes into something that's somewhat bluesy, or hardened blues rock type of song.
 
After that I'm not too sure, lots of room, but I would try to get a soft ballad or two in there. 
But I would like to hear some more poetry and a complex symphonic arrangement. 
 
For the outro of the record I would have nature boy interlude part 2 with maybe her own lyrics, and an instrumental nature boy outro after that like she did at her show.

Thinking about how the soundtrack to the next era of my life is being made right now  How will it change things for me...What if 2022 me knew that Tunnel was coming and I would be inspired to quit the job I was hating and fix my own family matters. Where would I be if Tunnel never happened?

I love her piano ballads but I wouldn't be against an acoustic guitar album Sirens style (I just hope she learned new chords tho cause I'd like it to be self produced too )
