Yeah same! I mean, more people are able to have their own copy without having to pay 300$, how is it a bad thing?  I honestly don’t collect things for their future value (simply because I want them and love them; and I don’t collect something for the sake of it, so my “collection will be complete”). And collecting something for its future worth and rarety is always a gamble: it never is a certainty that an item could be worth thousands of dollars in the future. 

I don't get it. They probably sold more than 20k copies ww, what did you guys expect? The crowd at Glastonbury was 60k+ people and it was one concert in London  she's not an indie artist anymore, stop gatekeeping her music and merch.

rereleasing it wouldn't necessarily mean she's reworking/rerecording it. she'd most likely just rerelease it as is since she does have thw rights to it and i imagine she wouldn't want to go thru the trouble of rerecording it either.

It's over a decade old and a gorgeous stunning divine debut that proves she's been a visionary since day 1 and she should be proud of it. I don't see why it would void her recent acclaim. In fact I think it'd be better received than ever now that critics have warmed up to her

aka rerelease is what i want most but i'd also be happy with an unreleased collection. and of course a new album (especially a poetry album) would make me excited too. i don't care for a tour bc she never comes near where i live anyway.

AKA rerelease or unreleased album could be amazing.. but if they do it badly then it will be horrific

a new album will always be good.. I’m gonna give it my vote even though it sounds less exciting and not “big” considering she’s renown for having an album lined up after just releasing one

I won’t really type down how I became a fan (it’s written in some other, similar thread) but I just want to mention that I was about 17 when I first started to listen to Lana and became a fan. After reading the comments here, it feels like everyone became fans when they were 12 or 13, so I’m here to represent us “older” fans.  (“Older” in quotation marks because I know some here are older than me!)

Got it! Thanks! I knew it was also a Led Zeppelin référence, but I also thought it was a reference to the holy of holies (would have been iconic as well). Anyways, I still love this lines so much 

i think you're thinking of "the holy of the holies" which wasn't a temple but a place within the temple of jerusalem where the ark of the covenant was kept but she's definitely saying "houses" in the song but i do like the imagery and religious metaphor of the way you heard it and kinda wish now that that's what she was saying
