This new version is incredible. I already loved the OG version but this one has a replay potential the other didnt have. 
when she hummmn in the background  And when the music almost stops when her verse begins  
The piano also brings a cute something more to the song 
 
But waking up to LB complaining again, Jesus… 

my first listen i thought the new version was a bit awkward despite loving hearing lana more probably bc i'm so used to the other version lol but after a couple listens i can say i really do like this version better. the second verse was given more of a mellow lana vibe for her which was nice and the tempo change makes the song more interesting and i was pleasantly surprised to here her more on the second chorus and to hear her closing out the song. its a shame this version will only be on streaming tho. taylor should release a till the dawn edition vinyl so we can finally have all the 3am tracks plus this new version of snow on the beach on vinyl

Probably the unpopular opinion, but the Paradise version of Yayo was a complete butchering. It doesn't come close to touching the charm and magic of the AKA version.

if she were to release AKA i would want her to do it like this, absolutely no changes to the artwork or the songs, definitely no reworking or even remastering... the songs are absolutely perfect just the way they are

I love Say Yes To Heaven but all of Ocean Blvd is significantly more cinematic and unique than this song lol
 

i think some of you guys just need to admit that you're just not fans anymore or that you just don't get it

I don’t think she stopped being unique.. probsbly more so.. there are no other albums currently on the market like OB.. and you could’ve said that about BTD at the time it was released too as it was ahead of it’s time 
 
SYTH isn’t unique by any stretch, it’s got sweet and simple lyrics with a pretty melody.. and so so many other female artists currently. I am very much probably the minority who thinks her songwriting has only gotten better over the years, it’s deeper and one thing I love about music is being able to delve in and explore it and it not being so obvious from the surface! 
 
its not to say I don’t think her early lyricism isn’t great either, I think video games was phenomenal in the sense it was highly visual and so lovely.. and I love nectar of the gods which is so simple.. but when I think of her best work.. it doesn’t spring to mind nectar of the gods.. nor will it be SYTH
