Based on Lana's description of "Fingertips" and the leaked snippet, people will either love it or hate it. A wordy freestyled song with strings in the background, yeah, kinda scared.

Also the intro is so fucking beautiful,  with the piano,  the strings,  her deep breathing
I love how the end brings the song together and ends it in such a grand way. I love when songs do that 
Also I get that ppl say it's sounds similiar to her last albums but Ocean Boulevard sounds more full & rich , we also got her deeper vocals back and the lyrics just hit. Also keep in mind it's only track 2 & I have a feeling the epic outro was just a hint at what the album will build up to , I can imagine it growing into a even bigger sound but also into sth more chaotic and weird but in a good way. So far this song is a nice blend between older & newer Lana for me , absolutely love the title track and I can see it even sounding  better within the album. It was a nice single choice,  nothing too shockingly new sonically but it feels warm & full sounding and I think it's a nice introduction on what's to come without spoiling too much

I just don't know why some people said this agian and again from atrl to here, everyone has his or her own opinion about music, so it's ok if you don't like it and to express. The song is basic for me, I don't hate or like it. But according to "the variety" boz said, I am also confident in this album to come. Don't push her so high, she is not a god, pls allow her to do something not seen good enough. Also the song's vocal is not polished very well and its melody is nothing for me but not that bad enough

I love this new song...it makes me so emotional😭
And really people should already let go this "Lana now doesn't know how to make music" and bla bla bla and comparing her older works to new . She makes music first of first FOR HERSELF, and then for her fans. She's expressing her feelings and thoughts. She doesn't have to replicate 100 albums with the same style of UV or BTD. She has grown up, she's more mature,more poetic,she won't sing the same shit over and over again just to earn some kids's appreciation. If you like her new songs,good for you. If not,good for you too,noone forces you to listen to her new "boring" stuff. Just get over it and don't hate on her for being herself.
