i honestly love the font in this context. like another user said, i think its easier to dislike it when its by itself. this is actually super cute

Okay so the more I look at the logo the more i’m liking it….
 
I think seeing just the logo itself makes it easier for me to be negative towards it, but i’m sure it’ll end up making sense and looking good on the actual single/album cover itself 

All you have to do is listen to her words and watch who she is dating to understand the vibe you'll get. 
She was unhappy with Chemtrails, she wanted to get it out asap and move onto Rock Candy Sweet (lol)/BB. She was unhappy because she felt like she couldn't say what she wanted to say about her family and she also felt like the production was too "Jacky" (sparse, letting the vocals and lyrics breathe while the production is as restrained as possible). That's not to say she doesn't like working with Jack, but during that period she was feeling rage and confronting her generational trauma after Sean. That's why she sought out different producers to give her moments like the ending of Black Bathing Suit or the drums on Wildflower Wildfire - angry, noisy, expressing her rage. That album was about her history, hence the lack of promo and the feeling of it being mixtape-y. Now that she got that out of her system and hopefully worked through some of her grief with her mother, comes the acceptance and grace as well as making it feel more like a proper rollout and era. She referenced Swan Song out of nowhere recently, a song about acceptance in some ways and moving on. She's also majorly influenced by the men she is dating due to her codependency: Francesco gave us beautiful Italian influenced vibes on Honeymoon, Berry gave us indie-rock vibes, G-Eazy gave us trap shit, Sean (and Nikki Flop) gave us midwest folk vibes, now I don't know much about Jack's music or personality but I see a lot of confidence, experimentation and a bit of witchy coven like vibes through the Neil flowers and W Magazine shoot. Flipping the narrative of her trauma of being the survivor of a cult and becoming a coven leader after processing her generational trauma? We'll see. 

how about it not sounding anything like her previous records... was that possibility considered

So I was looking at what @DragonWhore has said in the past (yes I have no life this weekend) and this is interesting:

This is something that can easily be verified (hopefully) Wednesday if we get the tracklist.

They’ve been relaying the “creepy, foggy coast, cult” vibes since at least April when they posted above comments. I kind of believe them

being on a site dedicated to Lana sometimes makes me think we may overhype her, but this is simply incredible. After the 2020 controversies and overall negative press surrounding her around the time (and even early 2021 with the chemtrails album cover) this just seems like such a huge deal. I’m glad her popularity is continuing to rise, and I’m sure next year when she drops her masterpiece album it’s going to be met with more praise than she got during NFR 

There has to be something really unexpected/special about this album... like she knows nobody will spoil anything this time so she's the only one who can do the real teasing as she wants (not counting Ben's nonsense)... yet she only posted a less than 10 seconds snippet and didn't even reveal the title.
 
Even if the album wasn't as close as we think (which I still think it is, I can't see it coming later than spring) that didn't stop her from posting a million snippets from NFR, the TJF snippet before having a real date or 3 singles months before the album. There has to be something...
Plus BOZ going crazy for you  about the album. I know insiders tend to have questionable taste but I feel like praise is often a better indicator about the quality than hate.
I can't contain my excitement 
 

i've met her several times irl and most of that times i had important questions planned for her but believe me, every time you're just amazed how nice and precious she is in person and you a) forget all the things you wanted to ask her b) rather have some kind of personal and meaningful conversation with her than just bombard her for titles and dates... 
 
and i know so many other people with the same experience and sometimes it's just too quick and chaotic

1. BOZ saying he can't wait to talk about the masterpiece of an album he just heard. 
 2. BOZ saying that jack is a genius when he does things right.
3. The collaboration with FJM is "fantastic". 
 
 
I don't know about you, but I feel like Lana is going to outdo Norman.

Remember when there was a bunch of talk last year from an insider saying she is going in a different direction with this new album?? Something about NFR, COCC, BB being a trilogy and this new recording being the start of a NEW sound? I'm rambling but I hope that's true (even though I love COCC & BB's  

And since he didn't liked COCC & BB there must be a different sound or at least something slighty different 

Her critically acclaimed futuristic-retro jazzy late nights by the icy sea stream of consciousness contemplative at 3AM singer songwriter album is coming 

"The world is not ready for the masterpiece of an album that I just heard"
"I can't wait to talk about this, it's so wild, can't believe I love it this much"

Now I can say I'm 99% sure BOZ was talking about Lana in that tweet.
He just posted that he missed Rihanna's voice (he probably just heard the soundtrack songs she's releasing soon) so he wasn't talking abour her album

Or perhaps you need to see it for what it is. A thoughtful album about healing and reclaiming herself and her peace of mind after being put through the ringer countless times  
 
I swear some people are just so fixated on what they want to hear that they don't take the time to understand what they actually are hearing. All of her albums are beautiful in their own ways and creatively expand on the themes and the story that she's been telling her whole career.
 
I see Blue Banisters as a cleansing and return to self after the deliberate aimlessness of Chemtrails which followed the subtle end-of-everything energy simmering throughout NFR. This leaves her in a really interesting place creatively and I think anything could happen for this next album. I am sure we are in for a real treat. I'm not expecting anything in particular, but I think she will combine elements of her previous sounds while exploring completely new territory as well.

All I know is Nikki Lane wouldn't have done this to us... She's a true mother!
