Hello! I should have asked before I used but I found this on Google image search and put it in my video. I hope this is okay, I love your interpretation of a Lana Country Album and it fit my vision of the song I made for her as a pitch for the album. I’m not profiting off it or anything, it’s just a fan project. I would like to put a link in the description to whatever social media you like as credit for the image.
Let me know your thoughts!

Can't artist just put out one representative, honest and complete version of a body of work???? Like, create an album, release it, stand for it and make it more ART&THOUGHT and less MONEY-GRAB&SPLIT EGO? This is tiresome and sick to the point I really detest supporting all these dumb millionaires/billionaires, thinking they could rock the charts by putting out a slowed/reverbed/shat over version of their one week/month-old record. This is toxic not only to the music world, but also to our environment.

I can imagine Billboard changing their rules to something like:
-for purposes of charts, only sales from one standard tracklist + sales from 1-2 alternate tracklists count towards chart position. (total sales from all variant tracklists if there are more would still be reported, these just won't count towards chart position)
-for sales of any additional alternate tracklists to count for chart position, it needs to be released a certain amount of time after the initial release date (like six months or something)
This would definitely put an end to this nonsense

I can’t even be mad at her for not wanting to do a stadium tour, she was so genuine and wholesome when she mentioned it in her speech. (I do wish she’d stop doing so many festivals though, I’d prefer concert halls…)

Even the quality of this recent picture somehow screams 2011

I made this little video I wanted to share of parallels I noticed while she was speaking after accepting her award this year compared to how she spoke after accepting her award for Next Big Thing & Video Games also at a ceremony held at the Grosvenor House in 2011. In both years, she talks about how she feels about accepting awards, understanding the industry, touring, and reacting to negative articles written about her, but her answers are very different over the 12 year span. You can really see her growth in her self-confidence and it's beautiful to see, even in just the way she speaks and her answers to the questions. I love her so much

I could totally be wrong about this lol but based off what she said before and after the metaphor about the glass ship
I think she's talking about the next stage of her career and everyone assuming that her playing Coachella means she's going to keep going bigger and bigger (like with stadium tours) but what she really wants is to be at home with her family, and have smaller shows where she can have more interactions with the locals there, etc. so if the "new ship" is the next stage of her performing career, then maybe the "glass ship that can fly" is to do the next stage of her career in a way that hasn't been done before
Like the typical route of a pop star vs the different route she wants to take that isn't so typical of singers at her level, but she doesn't know exactly what that is yet

Love that part of the speech in which she stood her ground after her new-level fame post tiktok… people treating her like a new artist is ridiculous. She’s been at it for a minute and it has always been great for those who cared to check it out - not because it’s a background song for a trend

I always thought people took what she said and ran about the tour, to me she was referencing her festival run and she tried to backtrack straight away after she said it
