this is giving streets of arkansas/florida/mississipi glam. the projects, trying to make ends meet, having the community be your long lost family. its almost like she’s touching back to her florida roots for sure! i wonder where the music is going? i’m also curious because i feel like jack needs to be immersed in this environment too to feel the sound landscape for the next album. maybe we will get a UV moment and a new producer will re-work all the jack tracks!

I truly thought that picture of her in a tshirt next to a Budweiser text on the wall was a previously unseen picture of her from 2011, before I saw that it’s from her instagram post… I’m shooketh!! 

the aesthetics are kinda confusing me, I guess that’s on me for ever expecting her to do a “traditional” country aesthetic since when has she ever done anything the traditional way but then again her second outfit at Coachella weekend 2 was kind of leaning into that soooo in the end I’m still confused… not in a bad way though, this modern swampy imagery is quite intriguing, I wonder how it will tie in with the vibes of the music since both snippets we had so far have had some lyrics that use traditional country tropes

I hope the Neil looking picture is from the actual photoshoot cause I miss that casual scenery from Lana. 
I love all of her latest album photoshoots but other than the couple of Ocean semiouttakes everything was so indoors.
Like Chemtrails and BB had outdoors pictures but it was either her house or a ranch

I have so many thoughts... this might be our first Lasso visual tease and I'm living for it, that first pic could literally be an album cover
It also kind of looks like music video bts, like the first pic looks like she's mid lipsync, plus she tagged the mv director
The second picture reminds me of the Neil nature photos she likes putting on the vinyl gatefolds, maybe she'll do that again
And lastly, the vibes for this are much more swamp/rugged country rather than the cowboy hat/ranch country I thought we were getting and I love that

There’s something about Lana + film photography that always makes me entire body SHIVER.

I don’t think it’s for a Fishtail MV, we’re in the Lasso era so it wouldn’t make any sense. Maybe she referred to some of the Fishtail lyrics in Though (which wouldn’t surprise me, she often does things like that) or she interpolated part of the song

It kinda gives me Brooklyn Baby vibes
