    Looked through Charlie’s instagram and a post from Christmas Eve of him in the studio with this caption
     “We take one thang seriously and that thang is god .”
     
    definitely think the first word is God, it’s such a Lana thing.

    I'm feeling the same excitement of being a Lana fan that I felt back in 2016/2017 for LFL (for better or for worse, LFL era was memorable and an iconic era). I find it strange that I was not excited for NFR, but then again the album rollout was so messy, and I remember being shocked at how great it was. Honeymoon was also another album I was only slightly excited for, so I don't know what to expect from my gut. COCC was one I was not excited for at all, because of the mess and the album cover, but was an album that truly GREW on me. If this album is a mix of the sharp turns/unexpected vibe of LFL, and the lyricism of NFR, this may be my favourite project by her.

    I believe @lilac heaven actually pointed out how a part of Dark City sounds quite similar to a melody from Betty Boop Boop 😳
    BPP is obviously a very chaotic & rough idea but I think a fully written/developed version would be soooo good like her other 2009–10 unreleased.

    The Grants has Tapestry by Carole King vibes to me (the title track of that album). I really see it as being this grand, encapsulating moment of Ocean Boulevard as well as of Lana's career and life as a whole

    BTD era "yeah" sample that was used in like EVERY song could be a crazy callback that would be pretty easy for her to implement too. But a serial killer sample or California (2015) sample I could see too

    I don’t think God was ever confirmed to be the first word, just think that it’s most likely

    Hoping The Grants is a track that gives 2006-2010 Lizzy Grant style, with the maturity of NFR - now Lana. I could imagine it being life changing
