I really wanted to frame it but its size is not standard
  2. Olympia liked a post in a topic by Manson in Tropico [Collector's Edition Vinyl]
In celebration of the latest leaks that made us wonder and fall in love with Tropico all over again...

    "TROPICO" Collector's Edition
    Dark-blue marbled vinyl
3 new tracks from the Short Film

I actually created all tracks with the FLAC files and the HD Tidal version of the short film. It's a real experience - give it a listen down below!

    1. Genesis (Intro)
    2. Body Electric
    3. Walt Whitman's I Sing the Body Electric (Interlude)
    4. Gods & Monsters
    5. Allen Ginsberg's Howl (Interlude)
    6. Bel Air

    https://anonfiles.com/ofLaqbi1zc/tropicoLP_zip

I took out all talking by John, Marylin etc. so it's just Lana, the narrator and the lovely "You're always on my mind" by Elvis after Bel Air. I cut the Interludes in a way that they actually work for a listening experience - trimmed them, made transitions, so there's no minute of just sound effects which just work when you actually watch the short film. I really like how this turned out. Lemme know what you guys think!

I got an email from her French store announcing the merch but there was no lighter/necklace ofc, so I’m assuming they won’t be available on European stores?

I have a feeling that something happened/they had problems with the merch. Why would the NL store send an email with the accessories (and the purple t-shirt) when it was only US/UK/CAN exclusive? And why would they drop it so randomly instead of when A&W got released?

I do think that we might have another drop later in March (like she did with the picture disc/signed bundles for COCC) but idk this era is weird…

Her UK site is weird. Certain things (physical music) cannot ship to the US, but random merch can. I've ordered stuff and received it, yes. It's the UK exclusive items that can be a real pain in the ass because you have to jump through hoops to get it. Luckily, I have a mate in Manchester, I can send stuff to him that is exclusive and he ships it to me in the States.

I ordered one of the NFR crop tanks from the UK store back in 2019 because they were all sold out in the US, and it took a lot longer to get to me since it had to go over the ocean (by boat I imagine) but I did recieve it eventually lol
  6. Eugene liked a post in a topic by Olympia in How do you sort Lana's unreleased music?
Thanks - I worked on it for 2 years, so... 🙈 No idea how many hours I spent on it. I added a lot of songs I had trouble to sort in to the "Queen of hearts" album. That song was the first one I was absolutely not able to add to any compilation, so I did it the other way round and looked for songs which could sound well along with it. I think those 2 you mentioned are in the QoH album now.
  7. lizzycobain liked a post in a topic by Olympia in How do you sort Lana's unreleased music?
That's what I did. I have worked since 2020 now on compilation albums, to sort them by style and way of singing (use of voice, interpretation).
I also gave them titles like albums, such as "Black Beauty", "Take me to Paris", "Queen of Disaster" etc.
The years play a role, but not only. Watercolor Eyes for example sounds so UV that I included it to one of the UV compilations. Was hell of a work, but now I am finally satisfied (especially after the last updates this morning which are not reflected in the screen shots yet). Until the next leaks at least.

omg, I just saw your collection. It is perfectly organized. 😭

I'm still thinking about where to include Cult Leader/Your Girl, maybe with the UV demos.

Looks like we do it in a similar way.
  10. Olympia liked a post in a topic by Eugene in How do you sort Lana's unreleased music?
organizing Lana's unreleased by year or sessions is a headache for me. I decided to make collections according to the sound of the tracks and try to make cohesive albums. I don't like all the unreleased, so I only take into account the ones that are in good audio quality.
    for now:

I took measure of some of my LDR village items when I got them last year. I will have a look for them and share them here. So if they didn't change their sizes, which I doubt, you should know then.

    Edit: Found them.

All measurements in cm. All clothing says "made in the USA".

    tote bag - not washable

    Bee crewneck in M

    wolf tee in M

the cropped hoodie compared to what I ordered, lol. Size S. (When I ordered, it was not cropped yet, got a full refund.)

Ladies' tee "Not all those who wander...", size M. (So, if it's for women only, they might write so, as they did back then.)

    BB eyes hoodie in M

Sweet Carolina tee - that's how most of the Blue Banisters tees were like:

not dishwasher safe mug - if you look closely, you will see how the prints comes off already before washing:

Thank you so much for this very detailed informaton! Will compare this to the other hoodies I got soon.

Edit: I just compared it, that's pretty interesting. Looks like the new hoodie is less wide, but much longer than the BB eyes hoodie.

I also wished they would bring back the old stuff again, it cannot have sold out completely.

I always loved and still love the quality of the tees and hoodie (BB Eyes) though, also of the bee crewneck. I got so many of the tees and wear them almost daily. So actually I don't mind the price, just the shipping always adds so much...
Besides, they were all made in the US - I hope the cotton comes from there, too. (I prefer this, as I suppose the people who created them were probably better paid than those who usually have to work in Bangladesh and other countries for almost no income.)

The candles and air fresheners are lovely, too.

The items I would avoid though are the mugs (not dishwasher safe, which you should expect when they charge you 30 USD for it, and even a few normal washes might destroy them - might be the same for the glasses, but I don't know) and cropped hoodies. I ordered once a normal hoodie (the Cartoon one) and it turned out to be a cropped one. It had an unseamed hemline and was of total thin material,no way as pictured. I got a refund for it in the end.

Has anyone got one of these pint glasses from previous collections? I would like to know how safe is the print on it. The mugs are a disaster. Not dish washer safe. But I think they even couldn't bear a few washings by hand without losing the print.

I bought a medium hoodie. The measurements are (I hope my descriptions make sense):
Top to bottom (not including the hood, so from where the hood is sewn on at the neckline) - 29.5" (74.9cm)
Width at the very bottom - 18.5" (47cm)
Sleeve length (from top of the shoulder down) - 26" (66cm)
Length from armpit to bottom - 16.5" (41.9cm)
width between armpit to armpit - 21" (53.3cm)
The material is 80% cotton and 20% polyester and it was made in Pakistan
