That's basically been this whole era in a nutshell. Could've, should've, would've been great, had so much potential, but here we are. 
The perfumes are especially weird. The expense of them with the inability to buy bottles separately is a stupid idea to begin with, but to throw such a boring and ugly design on it, then make it a fucking FOOT TALL is actually ridiculous. I'm over this era and the constant defending of her bad decisions. I feel like she knows she could do better, but just decided not to.

This bottle is fucking atrocious.   
And this whole era is just the ugliest missed opportunity compared to what she could've done with all of this. Like.. what the fuck?

The "blinking eyes" CGI for that teaser was so bad, too, holy shit. This era is just too ugly for the budget it must be demanding.

i love celebrity perfumes personally so i’m excited to see what the bottles look like/reviews of them, cause tbh, not sure if i’m willing to spend anymore on mel. but who knows 

There's going to be a Portals perfume. Not sure how I feel about this announcement, though. I think I'd be excited if I wasn't disappointed that the announcement wasn't for something more interesting, lol..

PORTALS is such a lazy era, can't wait for it to end... AI Art, stolen art, shitty merch, rushed visuals, awful tour costumes, lazy tour sets, vinyl problems, etc, etc. i cant fathom the fact that she still wants to make a film for portals on top of all of this. i love mel but she needs to give up on that film or it isnt gonna end well.

I unfollowed some other artists recently for this same thing too(Ashnikko's team stole cover art and took forever to give credit to the OG artist), so it seems to be a trend this year, lol! It's funny when it's coming from the same people that freak out when their own shit gets leaked and stolen though.
