The fact that people decided to bring this up exactly in THIS thread When a gatekeeper finds this we're doomed

Similarly to this, I remember a fan of both said in a YT video that Lana represents the West Coast of the USA and Taylor represents the East Coast of the USA and imo it's so right.

Yeah same here I don't even care for the wee wee's in Never Ever song. I never really cared for that song either. The only thing I'm tiny bit upset about is that I prefer the sparkly thingy sound intro in the stolen version of Sad Beautiful Tragic more than in the new version. I also love the mattress lyric more in Revenge

Omg I didn't know that Evermore was that less favored I adore Evermore and imo deserves more love. It deserved the same amount as Folklore imo. They're equal to my eyes but I think the lyricism is a bit stronger in Evermore, I mean look at songs like Tolerate It, Champagne Problems, Right Where You Left Me, Cowboy Like Me, Evermore song itself

Same lol, I literally imagined the same thing in my head 💀

I did say unpopular opinion though Not that I hate All Too Well, I love it and I think it's phenomenal but it's not THE best song and when I said overrated I meant that there are other songs that deserve "the best song" title

This live rendition of this song

I loved the story you told I think with such huge discography as Lana's, there's always a song that has such a sentimental value to someone because of the meaning and/or the nostalgic element, a memory that the song carries. I still remember that day when she posted the video of her singing RBFY in the studio, this song is probably her most "Spring" song ever. Also I agreed on what you said about Hope Is A Dangerous Thing. I also remember the day when she dropped that and I really felt on what was she singing there about. Even if it's just a piano and her vocals, there are moments in that songs which just hit you. It really made me think about my current situation and my life in general. You just sit and think. I know that feeling very well when you have been given the last hope for something, it can just drive you insane. And when you lose that last bit of hope, it really crushes you and it takes you and your emotions really low. I think that Hope song was life changing. So here's my another unpopular opinion: Hope Is A Dangerous Thing is her best song!

The melody is beautiful but imo she has better songs

Roses Bloom For You is overrated, like it's beautiful but what people fiind special about it? Like it's just another piano ballad of Lana's like many others, and it's even a short one. And I'm one of those people who thinks that Roses Bloom For You full version is the one which Lana shared in Instagram. I don't think that the song is longer that that.

Unpopular opinion: All Too Well is overrated. Her best song is Clean or any other song from Folklore or Evermore. Also another unpopular opinion: Evermore is her best album.

Album release days are quite stressful for me and idk why. It's just so overwhelming

This is still one of the most genius things I have ever read in my life

Lana's Songs That Would Suit Other Movies/TV Shows
Embach replied to Cherry Blossom's topic in Lana Thoughts
Honeymoon title track or honestly any song from Honeymoon album would suit PERFECTLY in Angelina Jolie's By The Sea (2015) -
Was Rock Candy Sweet/Loved You Then produced by Jack Antonoff? Also who produced Zodiac? Zach Dawes?

The era felt kinda non-existant really. She only dropped three singles without telling us out of nowhere, then in September she deleted her lanadelrey accounts after releasing Arcadia and in October she just quickly dropped the album and the MV for Banisters and another one for Arcadia. We had that iconic honeymion insta livestream though. 0 radio and magazine interviews. Also there weren't many photoshoots. Even COTCC era had more events than BB.

Idk, I thought it was I think it was more a Swiftie thing

I remember many things but I just never remember the exact track listing of each album. I just know which songs are on each album. But not the track order...

I realised that Marina's Purge The Poison is really similar to Billy Joel's We Didn't Start The Fire, in a way how both are passive-aggressively naming one of most chaotic events of the past decades
