I'm kinda annoyed that Brat became Charli's breakthrough album. It felt like she was at her most annoying during this era, and because Brat did so well, it probably enables her to be more of a brat (pun intended) for her future releases. If I were to choose a different Charli album that would receive this kind of success, it would probably be HIFN or Crash.

I don't think Chappell is gonna last long in this industry. She might make an album or two tops before she either removes herself or her fans eat her alive once they turn on her (which they will, I absolutely see that). I just don't think she's the type of person/artist who can maneuver through this level of fame and attention. If we're comparing the two breakout artists of the moment, I think Sabrina might fare better, but then again she's a Disney girl so she was trained for this from the very beginning.

Me @ a lot of her career and relationships, honestly.

It’s quite sad but some of her saddest songs about heartbreak or being used (Control, VBS, Control (final), Used, Regret, Fina,…) really speak to me… I feel for her cause I’ve been there too and it’s such a traumatic experience…

She has mentioned before that Starfucker was her last album with the label. And she was in a hiatus bc of her contract she couldnt release anything for a while. Which is why No Comma was teased so long ago and not released until now... 
 
If you look at No Comma on Spotify it will say "Slayyyter, distributed by Stem" which is basically a platform for artists to release their music through. This is the first time one of her releases has said this.

Like the album is crap but some of the reactions online lol, acting like it is the worst thing that has ever been created in the history of the human race since the dawn of time. It’s forgettable generic pop, nothing more nothing less, everyone needs to calm down
 

Anyway I LOVED LOVED the album, including the bonus tracks! I’m just disappointed that she worked with #HIM 

Both versions are cute, but the newer version has a much punchier production value. Sunscreen is really just that bitch. 

Just listened to B*tch, I’m Madonna for the first in a very looong time and woah that’s literally a SOPHIE song lol. I for some reason never noticed how much of her is in that song

The silver lining is that nobody can take the success of her first 3 albums and the absolute cultural reset that was The Sims 3 Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats away from her
