All 13 tracks on this album could sound like a mix of earthquakes, nectar, and fordham road, and I’d be the happiest woman alive

The Right Person Will Stay- really makes you think, doesn't it? Like, who's the right person? And where are they staying? A hotel? A Premier Inn? And if they leave, does that mean they're the wrong person, or just late for checkout? Deep stuff, really.

I agree with this sentiment. IF Lana was planning on announcing anything about her new album soon, the LA fires have probably altered that timeline.

artists are delaying album/ music related announcements due to the fires in LA. we all know how much LA is an integral part of Lana and I doubt we'll be getting any news in the near future. I doubt her head is in that space. I do wonder if she'll release something to raise money like Looking for America.

kstar liked a post in a topic by Embach in Director David Lynch Has Died At 78
David Lynch, the writer-filmmaker whose works include Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks, has died aged 78.
Lynch's death was announced on his Facebook page by his family.
"There's a big hole in the world now that he's no longer with us," the post said.
"But, as he would say, 'Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.' … It's a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way."

RIP to the one of the greatest filmmakers of all times.

Incorrect, actually. Those songs leaked because Rick Nowels' personal website was not secure. He uploaded dozens of songs from various artists onto a server linked to his website, for his personal use, but it was not password protected. It wasn't linked directly on his site, but if you poked around in the source code a bit, you could easily find a link to the file-hosting area of the site. It was trivial to do; five minutes of work, if that. Once you were there, it was basically just a detailed list of downloadable files sorted by year. He eventually went in and did some individual password protection of files for only two artists: Lykke Li and Lana. The damage had already been done by the time that happened, though, as people had known about this security flaw for months prior and the files had been heavily spread.
With regard to the rest of your post, though, it's mostly correct, but it misses the context that her email accounts were compromised around the same time as the laptop hack and material from both circulated heavily. As far as I'm aware, we have the vast majority of what was found by the hackers from both of those sources and most of what's left is just barely distinct alternate versions and demos.
Edit: Also, the theft of her laptop in the 2020s hasn't resulted in any leaked material. It wasn't stolen to get any music files, but rather because it was left in a car and it had intrinsic value. We know for a fact that she was able to remotely wipe it, too.

Leaking/listening to unreleased music where no one profits = good (in my books)
someone besides the artists/producers/labels makes money for a song they did NOTHING on = bad

Glad this is happening and they're getting charged. However, as lots of people have said listening to leaks doesn't make you a bad person or not a real fan

i mean i am fully for punishing people attempting to profit off artists work tbh. if i was ariana/lana/literally whoever & had my song stolen then found out someone had sold it for $$$$ i would be rightfully pissed
leaking music in general is a morally gray area anyway but selling it is way beyond the line

The morality of leaking unreleased material is a little bit of a grey area for me because I clearly enjoy listening to it but I also understand the artists pov, but selling unreleased music is wrong no matter what.
