oh god i really hope there is a bridge in henry song because it's perfectly long for that. i miss her bridges so much.

I remember someone already saying this before we knew the duration but maybe the Change comparisons were because of the lenght? 5 min is not long for Lana but it's not short either (even tho it's not like she releases 3 minute pop songs as lead singles anyway).
Or maybe it's because there are other songs that are more fun to release as the first song like we were told 
 
Either way I'm so excited... if it's 5 minutes there's no way it's just the acoustic guitar track with simple lyrics that we expect 
 
I don't expect a crazy song like VB or A&W of course but we either get multiple verses with pre/postchorus and a bridge or we get a good instrumental intro/outro. I'm sure Drew did his thing with the arrangemet

I hope Prettiest girl in country music will be excluded and no covers for this album, she made us wait forever and all i want is all-fresh new 13 tracks, original from her. 

I just know this is Lana testing how much we know after we learned Henry was uploaded to streaming we don’t know anything queen promise!!!

surely this is the prime opportunity for her to finally perform wild at heart and instruct the crowd to sway their arms left and right at the “cuz baby i’m wiiiiiiild, wiiiiiild at heart” outro as an epic video montage mashing up the ride video with footage of lana and her friends getting into various adventures plays as the backdrop

I also get the BB vibes but it's actually the opposite in terms of the album process cause BB was rushed so she could put out the newer songs defending herself (or explaining herself, whatever she said) so she used a lot of unreleased songs to fill the spaces but Lasso/TRPWS has been in the works for years so she has a lot of different writing/recording sessions to choose from.
 
But it's still Lana so we'll only know when we get the tracklist 

I still can’t believe she married an alligator tour guide. 
 
and somehow this era is so boring that even her marrying the most random of people is still somehow very boring. I have been excited for every era before, this is the first one when I really don’t care. I just hope she takes the UK shows seriously as I’ve paid good money for the tickets.

I kind of feel like there's going to be seven unreleased tracks we've already heard on this album.. it's very much giving blue banisters slapdash whatever get the album released vibe..
 

I wonder what drastic changes occurred for her to delay the album by a year. From what i remember, she said something along the lines of it (the album) not being aligned with her beliefs or something..idk. Additionally, the Coachella logos for her set were purposefully "Lasso" and country themed, which would lead me to believe that she genuinely planned on kicking things off that year (2024). I'm just really curious about the process of how this project got to where it is now, and how much it's changed since initial conception. 

she is so tiring. mind you she teased this song 15 months ago. is getting something - anything - too much to ask

So, she said she'll play new songs at the festival: big whoop.
 
Firstly, she lies a lot... as we all darn know...so she might be playing Video Games, Bartender, and The Grants, for all we know.
 
Secondly, what she thinks is "new" might just be Tough, Country Roads, and, again, The Grants. Maybe Breaking Up Slowly with Niki, too.
 
So, I'll believe it when I hear it.
 
Also, Miley's new song is such an instant hit, I'd hate to follow that with a low-key ballad like Henry. Hoping Henry offers some surprises, if she even plays that.
