Lana made a Tumblr to start the Ultraviolence era, a new Instagram account to start the Honeymoon era, and a Snapchat for this era. Her tradition lol

this is great promo because EVERYONE who uses snapchat (158 million people) will hear Love when they use the filter.

This is actually a big deal... Lana definitely made this specifically for promotion. She also made an official Snapchat account on the same day the filter went up. This was her bigger plan all along but the song leaked. I think we are finally on schedule... I'm actually crying.

The people who are supposed to be her fans are receiving her performance last night way more negatively than reviewers (this one was literally all positive http://www.stereogum.com/1930449/lana-del-rey-performs-love-for-the-first-time-at-intimate-sxsw-show/video/).And basically it's because they have a problem with the sameness of her setlist (it was what 10 songs? what would you have liked?) and how she looked. I'm tired of people constantly trying to bring her down because of how she looks. She's beautiful and honestly if she wasn't it shouldn't matter there's more to her than her looks and men aren't questioned about what they wear. She's not here to look good for you. This wasn't even for you this was for industry people who obviously get it more than you all do. So whine that it wasn't energetic enough but she didn't announce it 6 months before and she didn't allow recording for a reason-- this wasn't meant for you all to pick apart but obviously you'll do it anyways because everyone on here feels so fucking entitled.

Anyway, I agree with some of these criticisms. She was not energetic in the least, and her live debut of Love was not strong. But - it was just a small, intimate, indoors venue. You can't expect her to have been belting the chorus of Love or wearing something extravagant with massively styled hair just for her to be signing to an audience of like, 100 max. She obviously knew it was such a small set, and that nobody would actually be seeing this except for her most hardcore fans viewing laggy livestreams.
 
The concert wasn't big, which is why she only announced it a day before, so she didn't put as much effort as many of you wanted her to. But why would she? It's a case of people being bitter, not disappointed, when their standards are not met. Being disappointed is perfectly normal. Being bitter is ugly and entitled.
 
And then there are the assholes who think she looked ugly yesterday post a pic of yourself and your typical dress sense and we can judge you too!

I wouldn't say that. I heard WC on different radio stations unexpectedly (it deserves even more attention). Plus it was the most exciting single so far. Love was great, but the song doesn't compare to WC tbh.

whenever you upload "on our way" onto youtube, the copyright claim is for "heavier than heavenly" ... i don't remember the others but i know that there have been a few alternate titles, but those were for unreleased songs, not ~yet released songs (?) 
 
the architecture line is really stunning and interpretive but best american record is a far better title overall

Just listened to BAR (or should I say Architecture ) for the first time in a couple weeks and I guess I don't really care about the title as long as she releases it because it's one of her best
