This was an interesting read - thanks for sharing it. Your tutor had to put that note about using theorists to back it up, despite the fact that most of the interesting discussions about sociology and pop culture are happening outside academia and on the internet.
 
 
I've never seen it put quite like this, but watching Lana kiss her fans is such a break from what is expected in this relationship or transaction that it's more transgressive than Sid Vicious writing 'Gimme A Fix' across his chest. It's a breaking of the fourth wall, or a destruction of boundaries that is startling. I think people can question its 'authenticity' because it's so startling, but all the evidence appears to show that it's not affectation or gimmick.

I don't think it would be as bad as people think, I simply just don't think it is possible since they are so independent artistically. It would be an incredible marketing scheme though as they have lots of overlapping fans.

My favourite part about this is that user has been a member here for almost exactly 2 years, and has stayed completely silent until now to voice this simple 2-letter opinion.

He was the source of the instrumental leaks (in WAV, then some dickhead uploaded 128kbps to Soundcloud). I know his sources and if it leaks then David Kosten's entire production company would be in deep shit.
 
Exactly, M was chill about the album because it wasn't our fault. I hope she doesn't go crazy if the demos/outtakes leak this year. She would probably delay the tour or go into hiding or whatever.
I'm sorry Marina couldn't make it to Lollapalooza, she probably is still planning on touring Brazil in early-mid 2016.

I made a Honeymoon cover. I used screenshots from the Bel Air portion of Tropico since I felt like it fit. The quality didn't come through as well as i wanted and I just realized the black at the top but I will fix those later.
