Then she cancelled a tour 24 hours before it started
Then there was Question for the Culture
Then she showed BLM protesters' faces
Then she started dating a new, very questionable dude
Then she went to Mexico during a pandemic for a birthday party
Then there was today
And all that was sprinkled with reckless driving and numerous parties throughout rona 
Did I forget anything?
 

drag queens here in the UK have been doing covid-safe meet and greets - they clearly took the time to arrange them properly and take the pandemic into consideration, so lana i guess *could've* done this book signing / Q&A / M&G thing without as much backlash if she had just 1) worn a proper mask or kept enough distance that she didn't necessarily have to wear a mask (if that's a thing?? idk) 2) arranged this in the right way.
 
at drag meet and greets, they have a big table (at least 2 meters long) between the queen and the fan and they have to stand at one end while the queen stands at the other, and the security around the queens are VERY strict on this rule - they can still chat, look at each other and connect on a human level, but they're at a reasonably safe distance (idk how it is in other countries but here in the UK the rule is basically just "stay at least 2 meters apart") and they can still get a nice picture that doesn't actually look too awkward!

to imagine she was a pop nobody in 2015 [I remember us clowning her here lets not lie lmao] and has one song with the queen of pop and one of the best female rappers in history. Her music is actually good...even the fillers are listenable. She is still promoting while being mindful of the current climate and social issues.

oh c'mon the music video was good!!! the visuals and aesthetic matched with the song and the album overall. they could've went more and harder but it looked cute and fun and i enjoyed it. Dua has done so good this year i can't believe people are actually complaining.

She was already there and could've shot it, either way, it's not like she had to build a whole set or create more costumes ... like there is no transition to "Strawberry Shortcake" and the dance from "High School Sweethearts" makes no sense in the movie (not complaining by the dance itself, the aesthetics and her ass out, gives me everything). 
 

sorry but no. Just because I have time to type a response to something I disagree with does not mean I give a fuck about somebody begging for attention. Just because I give them my attention for all of 2 minutes to type a response - it’s not the same as giving them the attention they clearly seek from people PM’ing them begging to trade unleaked material - which is not allowed here - which is my entire point of response. 
 
I’m telling them to Shut up and stop advertising unleaked material - Elle has already warmed them once - I am warning them again. If I see it again, they are flagged as a spammer and lose their privilege to post on this forum. It’s as simple as that. My response as a mod reminding them of rules is not the same as giving them the attention they seek. I’m not begging for their little “exclusive” cover - I don’t care if I never hear the one song they are hoarding. I’m over the disregard for the forum rules and I’m over the attempt at ego validation. That’s all. 
 

lmao well I know it’s not just me that thinks the attention seeking shit should be left in discord / 2013. it’s basically somebody trying to show off to everyone that they have something ~xcxclusive~ for the sake of their own ego. Charli has dozens of unleaked we know about and even more that we don’t - I’m not gonna thank or praise somebody just because they happened upon a song that others don’t have (yet)

I agressively agree on this. It's a sort of useless obsession I have with arranging unreleased songs by era that I can't stand when people make albums with random songs. But that's just my obsessive and stupid self - don't mind me too much.
Anyways, I replayed XCX World today - because of this thread, actually, and I refreshed my admiration for the sequence of Bounce - No Angel - Taxi - Down Like Whoa. It's almost like a mainstream pop trascending moment  The sequence of Can You Hear Me followed by Waterfall also is pretty much meant to be.

Bit surprised there aren't any more "real" collabs, especially a Kylie one, but whatever, I love this project regardless, and this Little Gwenster is LIVING in a way I haven't since 2016. And to think that after this, we still have the deluxe edition to look forward to... I don't know a better woman, I really don't!
