I see we’re giving praise to marinas work and id like to remind everyone yet again of the gem that’s valley of the dolls.. what a song A CRIME! that it didn’t get a video… ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL that it didn’t finish off the archetypes music video series with electras death who marina even said died from guess what?? SLEEPING PILLS! it would have been a cinematic masterpiece and ICONIC ending to the electra heart era while also tying in one of its biggest inspirations for the EH and giving the housewife archetype what it deserves (teen idle im even more sorry for you in that aspect). we lost and ive KNOWN IT since the 8th of august 2013 when the final music video came out with a majority of clips from previous videos and there would be no more electra which meant no recognition for the teen idle archetype and ESPECIALLY the masterpiece of a song that’s valley of the dolls which is what I SHOULD have been watching a video for on that day to signify electras death and im STILL bitter almost ten years later and the worst part is there’s an itch of delusion in my brain that still hopes marina digs that bitch up again and gives us that valley of the dolls video a decade later.. she won’t but there are just some lingering thoughts and dreams that i cant help

i saw a post about how marina would probably write a lyric in reference to the johnny depp and amber heard trial for the next album and i have not stopped thinking about it since because it honestly seems like something she’d do after her recent albums and frankly..im sick of it

you guys ever watch something and a particular character just has this essence that makes you think “well ok damn i just know this bitch would love lana” ?? i had been thinking about this since i watched pearl and then x again and i had felt like pearl on an aspect of relatability (like brite lites, tired of singing the blues, youre gonna love me, noir) and maxine ESPECIALLY would be a lana stan as the kind that knows lanas unreleased discography super well and would follow a few lana fan accounts or something cassie howard from euphoria but the subfan that follows #coquetteaesthetic or has some kind of interest in it and laura palmer from twin peaks off the top of my head anyway..might make playlists of lana songs that describe these characters at some point for fun and to have time pass by faster but i wanted to know others thoughts on fictional characters that you’d think would be a lana stan (and/or can make a playlist of lana songs that describe said fictional character if you’d like)

i don’t think anything will ever disappoint as much as dcma and that fucking song she did with borns so in that sense as far as collabs go i have hope ! * plus taylor seems to have some real respect for lana as an artist so i don’t think it would be too out of left field to have lana have her own verse but that’s enough hoping from me

this is soo disturbed and almost gives the same vibe as the girlies whove used serial killer for fan edits of actual killers… like i understand discussing songs and their possible meanings but pushing the idea of someone being groomed onto a real person as fact, based on and only on speculation and not bothering to mention it’s speculative (especially as a melanie fan since she’s always made music about dark topics to begin with) just so you can make some cutesy half assed edit of abuse they endured or in this case possibly endured to a sad song and tag it #fyp so you can get likes.. is a bit deranged!

people are so deranged, this is horrific. especially considering this is pretty consistent issue she’s had to deal with for a number of years now. and like where is her security?? similar events happened before multiple times… it’s very worrying knowing this will continue and even more knowing the tragedies of other celebrities and their stalkers.
