I honestly don’t like Dr. Luke anyway regardless or if the claims are true or not. He rehashes the same crap over and over again.

I mean the biggest reason Dr Luke is out making bank again is because Kesha is about to lose a libel lawsuit because her and her team tried cook up a publicity storm to get her out of her deal with Luke. Luke notoriously signed artists to bad deals but she didnt care until he wouldnt let her release faux country rock. So her and her team went around falsely accusing Luke of sexually assaulting Katy Perry AND Lady Gaga. I feel bad for Kesha because I do belive she was abused in some way but they way her and her team have gone about it trying to out victims ans making false accusations is disgusting.

no, the reason dr luke is making bank again are the white gays. scroll up and you'll see one tell me to forget about what he did because he makes good music.

don't blame kesha as the reason why dr luke is being supported by white gays. the man snuck his way back in and these gays are like 'pshh whatever'.

the more the album is streamed, the more he makes. the more the album is bought, the more he makes. he's only making money because people let him. don't go victim blaming as the reason why he's making money

A harsh opinion - she’s nothing special, generic pop, basic voice that sounds like a million other pop singers on Spotify. It’s music you can bop to but she is not in the same universe as Lana. Kim’s music is more like something I would listen to in 2010 that I now cringe when listening to. The final nail in the coffin is working with Dr. Puke - she’s probably got him on the cheap as he can’t find any work. What a mistake as her fan base target is likely Kesha fans and the gays. This new EP looks like some Fame Monster shit to be honest - it’s been done before.

Lana was friends with Kanye and Kim she sang at there wedding. I’m glad she’s speaking up because Kanye is an unacceptable excuse for a human being. He needs help from a professional and I’m saying this seriously not as an insult - he either has a personality disorder (no offence to others with MH issues) or some deep rooted psychological problems.

The album does sound like FROOT 2.0 ...I thought maybe she was going to make more generic chart sounding songs like baby. I’m here for it though. I think she should makes songs with fresh production, lots of instrumentation much like what Lana is doing. She’s got the brains and the writing capabilities to do better than basic pop.

Nooooooo she should just go with her original ideas and her gut. Also.. music in the winter.
I love this. But. the flower combusting is deffo symbolic of an orgasm. Tree huggers to the nth degree They burst all at once and then it gets real cold. The album pops out in the winter, and she smirks and smizes to the camera. Lights fade

Baby is terrible- not sorry! She better not put that generic local music on her album.

I bet she releases a *real* lead single in March and releases the album in like early May. Lana given time can change her mind and might think of new songs or ideas that I bet will push the album back.

Baby might be a banger now that I know it's not hers and Clean Bandit's instead. A cute song

Please no rap or hip hop on LDR6 because on LFL it really wasn’t pretty. I think it lowered the album and added a trashy generic feel to it. She should have had BAR and Yosemite instead of Summer Bummer and Groupie Love. - (I know this has been said a thousand times). Stevie Nicks and Sean Lennon are the types of artists which suite her in collaborating.

It seems trendy to hate everything Lana releases when it’s announced and released. Honestly people have been doing it since Ultraviolence. She’s not here to write music for you she’s an artist with her own visions. I think she is breaking the mould with the next album. Being experimental is often where the best music comes from.

THIS IS SO LANA. fuck the glam, fuck the trap beats, fuck the generic "pop". this is HER in the rawest form. the guitars and the pianos are flowing from her heart and mind all together and it's so cohesive and pure sounding. i can't even DESCRIBE how natural the sound is. it's not forced at all, she really just let her inner mind and soul come to life. NFR <3

I'm so in love with these songs, and all the creative decisions she's making -- I've never been so excited for an album, nonetheless one by Lana.

I have so many thoughts right now

Like, as much as I loved LFL, it seems like such an anticlimax compared to this. It's fun enough to listen to, but it really does feel empty compared to what she's given us here, already. I already love this for the same reasons I love AKA so damn much: it's Lana pursuing what she's passionate about, creating extremely unique, layered music. There's thought, soul, and inspiration behind it, and it shows.

As for how strongly the era is already dividing the fans, I think it's brilliant. I haven't seen such outrage or vitriol directed at Lana for her creative choices since Born to Die, and I think it's absolutely amazing this time around, because she's consciously making provocative decisions. Like, you can't title an album Norman Fucking Rockwell without knowing it's going to give you some hell. This is the same woman, the same provocateur, that once raised eyebrows in the extreme for opening a track with the line "My pussy tastes like Pepsi-Cola". She's back.

I love that, especially with Venice Bitch, she's returning to that idea of nostalgia and classic Americana that we haven't seen in years and years, but as someone here said (apologies that I can't remember who), it's matured. She's become the most adept at writing in her own style that she's ever, ever been, successfully combining her starry-eyed view of the past and America (hence the reference to Rockwell, who painted an idealistic, wholesome America) with the reckless abandon and controversial attitude that made her famous in the first place, which leads us to the big ol' "fucking" slapped right in the middle of the name of an American icon.  It's heart without excessive sentimentality, and attitude without bitterness.

I think these things combined (and things we have yet to see) will propel NFR to classic-level, like Born to Die or moreso -- maybe not in terms of widespread fan adoration, but in terms of being a stylish, smart, thoughtful and timeless record.

    I'm over the moon

I think the album title is awesome, so different and so Lana at the same time. She's really letting loose, and it feels good.
