I was so blown away with Mariners and Venice Biatch that I didn’t really mind the underwhelming videos and cover arts, but now that you mention it... I reeeeaaaallllyyy don’t want something so lazy for the actual album. Real photographs, please. But then again, if the rest of the songs on the album will be just as amazing, then I wouldn’t care that much about visuals I suppose.

Anyway, if we’re getting good visuals, I hope it’ll have a connection to the songs or the lyrics. And I think a painting would be cool and different for the album cover, but then people might accuse her for copying Lorde...

That's true, but also, if it is to be a painting for a cover, it's gonna be appropriate, the album's named after a famous painter/illustrator after all so I think people will understand, you know, being a form of homage or appreciation to him...Then again, people may say she already expresses maybe too much appreciation by just naming the album that way, but you know what I mean

I've noticed all her covers were all taken around the day time, idk bout UV, but it seems like the cover was just drenched in black n white. I want the cover to kind of be around blue hour, or night time. 

Flash would have to be crisp af, maybe a light or two in the background, in color. I always go back to the MTWBT video. The aesthetic

I agree! I don't want like a Katy Perry track - but I'm hoping some more energy. Almost what Venice Bitch does when it picks up around the 2:00 min mark.

 

I still think/hope the lead single will have a slightly more mainstream sound.

yeah I was really interested in her red hot chilli peppers inspo and could hear bits in Venice act but I'm just wondering if there's more of that just faster.

The idea: absolutely. But that's just some garbage Cessna 170 stripped of it's paint, I want a classic plane & something imposing. If the album is called Norman Fucking Rockwell it should be something from around the era he lived in: A DC 3, 4, 6, or 7. Maybe an early 707, I would say a Lockheed model but they're all ugly. If it's something smaller a biplane would be nice, Waco biplanes are classic & still quite popular. I'd love to see her posing between the props of a larger aircraft, or sitting on the wing of a smaller plane/biplane!

I actually thought the LFL trailer should’ve been the album cover for LFL. The pic where she’s standing with all the things above her head and LFL written on the chalkboard behind her. It would’ve had that starry look or night time look to it

Honestly the aesthetic in this video is one of her best ever, i really wish she'd delve into this femme fatale style more. MTWBT is no doubt in my top 5 Lana songs. Ugh

This would honestly make so much sense  It took her 4 albums to finally get out of the car so now she should pose next to an airplane. LDR7 she will be inside the airplane but on land. LD8 she will be in the air. LD9 she will be parachuting out of the plane. An evolutive songstress
