I actually like Doin' Time... I think it's nice to have a little bop on the album, but I get why people are sort of whatever about it. I feel DT is actually a label ploy for the more mainstream audience, but whatever.

 

I hope the Doin' Time video is different from the one she just shot a few weeks ago. I want another video to look forward to and for something like CINNAMON GIRL!!

It takes awhile between editing, color correcting, approvals for video, so I imagine this will be not the Grease-inspired one she shot.

 

I'm praying I'm right, so we have another video to look forward to.

Basically, he projected a lot on the story. It was supposed to be called Real and Imaginary Conversations with Lana Del Rey (or something like that) and he pretty much made up all of it and portrays her as a freak, according to her and the excerpt she read.
