American Whore

What TV series or movie would you (actually) like seeing Lana in?

Recommended Posts

Personally, when the show was in Columbia, I would’ve liked her to be in Narcos. Maybe now that it’s in Mexico it’d be cool too but Columbia would be cool. Maybe if there’s a show about Cuba she can guest star on it?

So, Narcos it is for me (right now)

You?

I know it's not running anymore but The Sopranos

That’d be fuckin epic. In NY running around with the Mafia

I would be game for her to do a Bond Movie theme song

But that was 24 and she got snubbed for that one

I've always thought Lana's and David Lynch's work had similar energy and themes.  Retro americana, violence, surrealism. With both I always feel like i'm dreaming while listening/watching.  Also any mafia movies !  She's got the attitude.

It's more an online show but as a guest in UNHhhh. I watched the Music episode a billion times and everytime hearing Katya mention Lana kills me. She's my fav queen ever and she's such a huge stan (cum thru The Blackest Day fav song) and I think it would be hilariously awkward to have two powerhouses of flamboyant personalities next to the elusive chanteuse Lana Del Rey

doing cameos in the one day Lana Del Rey inspired by Lana Del Rey continuous series

Lana Del Rey's AKA

Lana Del Rey's Sirens

Lana Del Rey's Born to Die

Lana Del Rey's Paradise

Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence

Lana Del Rey's Honeymoon

Lana Del Rey's Norman Fucking R....

etc.

written produced directed by Lana Del Rey, Elizabeth Grant, Lizzy Grant, Chuck Grant, and others

and then the Stage production (and then the animated movies of the original...

Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp

she'd make a perfect femme fatale imo, but i can also imagine her as an aloof, depressed housewife from the 50s or something who's always on the verge of dissociating.

unoriginal answer, but i'd def love to see her in some collaboration with David Lynch. agree with what other people said re: mafia movies & specifically think she'd make a fab Elvira Hancock in a hypothetical remake of Scarface.

on a slightly different note, i think she could be great in a PTA movie à la Boogie Nights or Inherent Vice, and after Lynch the other director i'd LOVE to see her work with is Paul Verhoeven - a movie somewhere between Showgirls & Elle would be THE DREAM for me.
