anyway some1 leak smth

If by not 'up to par' you mean distilling the worst elements that only kind of work in songs, sure. I could put a dictionary audiobook on shuffle and put it to an instrumental of old money and some of y'all would still be saying it's 50/50 lmfao.

Wondering why people think this has some of her best lyrics....... dropped a pin to my parking spot , I’m assuming where she parked the truck she just bought in the middle of the night . Also the audacity to say kanye west is blonde and gone and then date a cop

Many songs on NFR, to me, has some of her best storytelling. The 3-part story on HTD, MAC’s plea to be heard and understood (while beautifully quoting Leonard Cohen), the metaphors in the verses of TNBAR, the euphemisms of the outro of the Greatest, the Laurel Canyon Story told by the title track, HIaB and Bartender: these are all superb stories she brought on this record.

She always had amazing lyrics on all of her projects, but to me, NFR has some of her best stories for an album.

I randomly played an NFR playlist that's on Youtube with the Urban Outfitters alternative cover, and came to the conclusion that that cover is the one that truly fits better with the album's soundscape. Stripped back, down to earth, sometimes sketchy, yet beautiful, warm,  full of light and meaning. An adequate cover for a classical piano-rock album. Reinforces the thought that Lana is going through an absolutely new stage on her musical journey, and that all of us should better get used to it, just to not expect her anymore to adjust to the aesthetical canon she used to fit in along her earlier artistic projects.

I get exactly this from the standard cover as well

I love the standard cover too, and it's curious cause some of the visual textures on it depict so well some of the sonic textures on the album (p.e, the skies and the mellotron arrangements), but the "surfy" font used for the title and the "LDR" logo are kinda out of place. They don't fit with the classical sound that the album tries to evoque.

LMAO I knew you were going to mention unreleased tracks the moment I saw your profile

And I knew you were going to come at me the moment I mentioned ‘unreleased tracks,’ because that’s the kind of mindless parochial/provincial idiot you are.

The fact is her released tracks represent some of her best material, but a great many of her released tracks, like ‘Ride,’ ‘Old Money,’ ‘American,’ ‘Summertime Sadness,’ ‘Cola,’ ‘Salvatore,’ ‘Swan Song,’ ‘Black Beauty, ‘Yayo’ and a dozen others are greater than 4/5ths or more of NFR.

The audacity to say shit like "her ears are also too low on her head for ‘classic beauty,’ as the upper spot where the ear meets the head should be directly in line with the middle of the eye" and then call other people idiots  :rip:

Friendly reminder that this album is stunning, and those who think otherwise are missing the point.

Or maybe we have fully functioning ears? Either way, this album truly is nothing impressive or even remotely musically groundbreaking. I strongly agree with @@Vertimus comment here about other songs on previous albums being vastly superior than pretty much anything on this lackluster album.

Imagine thinking Norman is lana's worst album, I have to LAUGH, this is exactly why homophobia exists

.

What does not liking NFR have to do with homophobia? Can you give us a logical argument?

There are just hundreds of academic and scholarly, as well as purely informational, articles about the Golden Ratio on Google. Even Oprah.com has one, which I have posted before and will post again below. If you want to be a denier and exist in ignorance, that’s your provincialism.

Something being on Google or Oprah's website doesn't make it any less ridiculous. Maybe I'm missing the context here since I didn't see your post that 'Nobody' is referencing, but if you're really using this to "explain" why Lana can't be a classic beauty...yikes.

Is Einstein's theory of relativity "ridiculous"? Is Newton's theory of gravity "ridiculous"?

You are just choosing to be obstinate because you feel the idea of LDR's ear placement not fitting with the Golden Ratio--which is all I said--is a personal outrage to you, because of course, only your feelings and impressions matter, the world doesn't matter, facts and truth don't matter, only your own little perception bubble matters. What you believe and feel is all that matters. So stay ignorant, and all because your own ideas are outraged and you can't handle it except to deny established facts that are backed by hard math.

It does matter that Oprah's website features it, among hundreds of others, because some racist here suggested the Golden Ratio was just a Conservative, Old White Male means of Oppressing Women.

So you can try to be objective and try to learn something objectively, and then try to apply it objectively, and see if any of it works for you, or you can stay in your burrow with your outrage.
