Lana Del Rey albums as seasons and times of day

lana doesnt have a fall/winter album. its not up for debate.

the only albums i'd say are spring are cocc and bb... the rest are all summer albums.

Idk I get late September/early October vibes from COCC. Early fall when the leaves are just starting to change and it hasn’t gotten cold yet

Btd is a winter album for me personally

wdym it's absolutely a summer album.. i can't be singing along to sadness in the summertime and swimming pools with glimmering darlings and heart shaped sunglasses and red white and blue in the sky and LA being paradise and my life being sweet like cinnamon and table dancing at dive bars and partying up all night in cloudy and cold weather

her voice has become much richer and warmer over the years, i think it would be hard for her to make an "icy" sounding record even if she wanted to

sure i see that, but i'm also allowed my own opinion and how i take in and match an album from n thru my perspective. i think of btd's drive and hustle more w a colder aspect in life. feels a little more ny, and from a more spiritual viewpoint, all that running and figuring things out can also be considered and perceived as a colder time cus the storylines in those songs feel a little more past tense to a transitory fact segue that she might've not gotten what she really wanted bc she didn't know everything yet to want, or perhaps express more of why's of what she wanted better.

and the beauty of it is, both meanings can be true simultaneously. it's just that i prefer my intaking of the album this way overall. fireplaces are warmer usually when it's cold out

I feel like COCC is her most autumn album to date… the alternative cover represent it very well (don’t forget it was due October 2020)

But COCC is like early fall to me. I'd like a foggy rainy cold grey November NYC fall album.

norman fucking rockwell is summer transitioning into fall, chemtrails is late fall, blue banisters is spring

i would like ldr9 to be a winter album, & i see born to die (for some reason) & lust for life as winter albums

cocc is like spring/ end of winter/spring which is perfect cus it's a pisces, similar time of year
nfr and bb are both end of summer albums, but nfr vibes a bit better towards that elongated part of idle summer, while bb wisps/ anticipates autumn and winter (even spring) in ways norman doesn't. but, i still do think bb amalgamates best w the end of summer thematically.

disclaimer, an opinion:
btd's a gemini
paradise is a leo
ultraviolence is a scorpio
honeymoon, taurus
lust for life, sagittarius/ aquarius
nfr's a pisces
cocc's a pisces
bb's an evolved, regretful scorpio/ not so sure atm

NFR - transition summer/autumn, weather was hot and now cools down and is windy, time for surfing

COCC - end of summer to autumn, harvest time, walks through colorful forests with falling leaves.

BB - actually autumn (e.g. Arcadia) with regards to the release date, but some songs have also references to spring/summer (Violets For Roses, Blue Banisters, WFWF)
