Chestnut Fox Sexy Jesus 3,026 Posted September 10, 2020 You know just to take our collective minds off of cocc for a minute I was wondering if you too guys associate Lana’s records with particular months of the year rather than seasons? For me COCC is shaping up to be her October record, full blown Autumn shit. - BTD is June, beginning of summer, lots of bangers, mild nostalgia, living wild. - UV is somewhere around January, cold, grey and angry. - HM is July/August, total summer ethereal oblivion - LFL (a mistake) - NFR definitely September, end of summer but still close enough to reminiscent what do you guys think?

LFL's second half and cover art gives me Monterey Pop festival vibes so just the beginning of summer, muggy and humid because of Heroin, but yes, a mistake as well Edited September 10, 2020 by JehovahThikness or April LOL

UltraHeroin 8,803 Posted September 10, 2020 LFL is April cause it's the fool of her discography 11 Quote ~~~My body is stuck in the ocean My mind is lost in the universe***
Serene Queen 4,786 Posted September 10, 2020 LFL is definitely March, because it doesn’t have a distinct vibe to it, and neither does March. They both just kind of…exist 10 Quote Hell, I Suppose if You Stick Around Long Enough, They Have to Say Something Nice About You

Chestnut Fox Sexy Jesus 3,026 Posted September 10, 2020 I agree with LFL being either March or April Not sure about AKA being a December record though , but she should definitely take Gramma off and re-release it because it’s such a cool album. Also I’m not sure where Paradise belongs?

AKA: Late Spring/Early Summer; BTD: Winter - Beginning of the year (Jen-Feb) when you’re looking at the snow coming down outside the window and think about summer memories while anticipating the good season (maybe it’s cause I felt this way listening to BTD when it came out); PARADISE: Autumn (Oct-Nov) the days shorten and the atmosphere darkens; ULTRAVIOLENCE: Mid summer (Jul-Aug) you’re trying to get through scorching days and restless sweaty nights; HONEYMOON: Autumn (late Sep-Mid Oct); LFL: doesn’t belong to any period of the year in particular cause it’s a mess and a half; NFR!: End of summer (late Aug- early Sep); COCC: is giving me Halloween spooky vibes already, I don't know why but I kinda like it! In conclusion, to me each album suit with season in which she dropped it

Elle 121,070 Posted September 10, 2020 I created a new thread for this discussion since it had absolutely nothing to do with Chemtrails and didn't belong in its Pre-Release Thread. Anyway, here's my take - Sirens - January AKA Lizzy Grant - December Born to Die - March Paradise - November Ultraviolence - June Honeymoon - April Lust for Life - July Norman Fucking Rockwell - October 4 Quote • 4.18.14 • 5.1.14 • 9.20.14 • 5.28.15 • 6.14.15 • 7.28.16 • 7.24.17 • 10.23.17 • 10.24.17 • 1.25.18 • 2.5.18 • 12.5.18 • 10.3.19 • 10.11.19 • 11.16.19 • SF • ATL • ATL • IND • ATL • CHI • LDN • NYC • NYC • DC • ATL • NYC • PDX • SAN • KS

Ultra Violet 18,851 Posted September 11, 2020 With southern hemisphere seasons tho Aka- December (hot, beginning of summer) BTD- January (middle of summer) Paradise - March (later summer) Ultraviolence - May/June (late autumn and winter) HM- September/October (Spring) LFL- July through August (late winter before it gets windy) NFR - October/November (late spring or early summer) So they're all actually in order except honeymoon
Doll Harlow 12,366 Posted September 11, 2020 AKA: January. Like a New Years Day vibe. Right after midnight and you're still drinking. BTD: May. The last day of school, getting ready to have a crazy summer. Paradise: October. A bit more somber than her previous albums. UV: July. This album is the embodiment of a burning hot summer. Honeymoon: December. This album will always make me think of Christmas because that's when I got my first Lana vinyl ever, in the winter of 2015. I'll never forget hearing Salvatore on vinyl for the first time. LFL: July. The ultimate summer album. NFR: August. Summer fading away. COCC: Hoping it has an October/November/December vibe. End of the world, end of the year, still trying to be happy. It makes sense in my head. But with a September release date. 0 Quote You call me lavender, you call me sunshine.
