I agree the skating is indeed beautiful, and should be the best part of the video, young Lizzy dreaming about life and shit BUT since she got an injury I think the body double shouldn't have been the main focus of the video and it is

 

There are even scenes where you see the body double not once but TWICE (from two different angles/sets) but now I'm just rambling

 

as for Bartender, it is indeed silly af but at least it's her and to me it suits the vibe of the album and the song. If it were a video on its own of course I'd be like "eeeek" but as part of the triple video, I think it works

Even for MAC and VB of course at first I wanted something else but it works in some way

But all the scenes with Lana are jarring, cringy and not vibing with the song at all since they are so unprofessional and badly put together - considering both the acting and the outfits/setting.

The only good parts of the vid are the ones with the bodydouble. They are beautiful and match the vibe of the track.

Just because it's not Lana herself does not change that.

Unpopular opinion, but.. I don't like when artists do lipsync in their music videos like in those singing/playback shots.. It looks super awkward and fake most of the times!

Beautiful narrative, badly shot and executed. The skater was lovely though, damn. The covid mask shit makes the video look tacky and it'll age poorly. Just have Lana be the focus so there's no masks. Less risk too, since masks don't offer guaranteed protection.

I like the song but I've heard it somewhere before, this melody. Definitely a great opener.

And I don't wanna shit on Lana's looks but why does she look so bloated? Why can no one style this woman so she looks decent? Idc if she gets work done but can she please get better work done. Whoever is doing her fillers and shit needs to refund her.

For me, the song is much better than video itself. I was imagining somethig more about Lizzy old days, with chevroletes, Ruby Tuesdays, going on the South and helping with building reservation park. With crazy voodoo things and birds flying out of the mouth lol. And I was hoping for maybe little speech/talking scene but knew it wouldn't happen. But video isnt bad like SOME of NFR ones, its cute and really dreamy and I really like that scene with rotating on skates-it matches perfectly to drums in the song.

 

Can someone tell me what is going on on that scene when Lana is taking something from waitress and give to middle-aged women and going away from the door? What was that one about?
